There is free street parking and the street is fairly low on traffic. The inside has a nice feel and the area I was in felt like a traditional American barbershop shop. It felt nice and comfortable and a place you can feel at ease. The chair was very comfortable and fit me well. Amanda greeted me at the front reception area with a smile and escorted me to the chair. We talked about the service and what she was going to do. She shaped up my side burns first, the my beard and mustache, and finally a little eyebrow touch up. The eyebrow trim was a nice touch and a first with a shave. She then moved on to the shave. A hot towel was used with normal warm foam and of course a straight razor. She went over my entire face with expert ease. After done she did another hot towel and a nice wood scented aftershave. I had no irritation at all. A quick look in the mirror and touch and it felt good. I returned home and asked my wife to check me out. She gave me the touch test and agreed it was a good shave. One thing to know is that Amanda does smoke. If you are hypersensitive to smoke smell it might off putting. It did not bother me, but it as noticeable. Overall solid shave and a great place to visit. I will likely return for another shave.

Blake is a great guy to chat with and makes you feel comfortable. I was visiting for a straight razor shave. On the day I arrived Blake was a little behind schedule, but it did not bother me. A few minutes is not that big of deal after the work day. He greeted me at the waiting area and escorted me to his shop. The shave was really good. He started by trimming my sideburns and a little hair around my ears. He then shaped up my mustache and goatee. Next came a hot towel followed by the shave. Blake uses a gel type shaving cream instead of a lathering or foaming cream. This was a first with this product type and I was very pleased. Blake meticulously executed an amazing shave. He took great care to get all sections of my face. He then finished with a nice aftershave that felt very nice. I returned home after for the final test. My wife's feedback was "That was a very good shave." Blake is great. I'll be back for another one of his shaves.

Went to get a haircut from Levi. My son explicitly said, "don't take anything off the top." He also…read morestated that he wanted the length. He even showed a picture. Levi took too much off the sides and messed up my son's hairline. I gently reminded Levi that he might want to pick out my son's hair to get an accurate view of the length and to ensure the cut was even. Meanwhile I'm trying to make the situation a positive one and be kind. Levi picked out the sides of my son's head but not the top. He then used a spray to color in the hairline. Levi then offered to pick out the rest of my son's hair and my son told him he didn't want that. Mainly because he was ready to get out of the shop. This hair cut took 1.5 hours to complete and he kept trying to take more off the back. My son was visibly upset and embarrassed about his hair. He's been growing it out for months and was upset that he'd have to start over again. After the hair cut I paid Levi and left a tip because I felt bad for the him. Not because I thought he did a good job. He even apologized. I gave him some gentle feedback about picking out the hair first and maybe having a sponge to curl up the hair after. My son left a review on Booksy with a picture of what he wanted versus what he got. No words other than that. Levi took it upon himself to mock my son for crying. I responded and gave Levi some further feedback. All of which was respectful. Then Levi texted me the following. (See screen shots below). I never level negative reviews because it's not worth my time, but Levi decided to text me and call my son a punk and then began to insult me. All-in-all, I would say you're going to get a bad cut and some attitude for calling it out. Go at your own risk.
