They ended up just ignoring me which made it clear they sold it to another person even though it shows on my credit card as a pending transaction because I had approved it. Given the number of similar negative reviews, this clearly isn't an isolated incident. When the owner inevitably responds with excuses or denials, please be assured: this is EXACTLY what happened. I went to the store to pick it up today and showed the employee at the customer service desk, asking if this is normal practice at Long's? He agreed it that it was strange, but no apology or anything. I also had to ask for all of the packaging, travel case and cleaning cloth that normally comes with a purchase of the dollar value from this particular brand.
