I left a message in the radiology dept letting them know my insurance company had authorized the procedure. They never called back! I went in 2 days latter to personally schedule it since they couldn't be bithered. I was told they needed more info from the Dr. before they could schedule it, then proceeded to ask if I would like to schedule it now. I left disgusted with their incompetence. read more

I do not recommend this hospital. Everyone who I came in contact with was very rude to me. From the front reception to the back was very rude to me. When you are going to the hospital for something you want to have the best experience you can, and this was not the case. I will not be going there ever again. read more

I recently had to make a trip to the emergency room in white salmon as we were traveling and I came down sick. I have never been seen so promptly and with such kindness and care !!! The nurses are just fanatically kind and gentle! Dr Smith was a blessing, he listens and talks to you like a real human to human ! Not human to DOCTOR ! I would highly recommend this hospital! I went into the emergency room Monday evening with a cut on my index finger that was not life or finger threatening, but still required stitches. I can't remember the last time the combination of clear medical competence, friendly (welcoming) behavior, and just a feeling that "all would be OK" was more present. From the doctor to the RN to the intern, all three were just on their game. without names, that would be R, R, and S. I'd trust all three to work on my hand again. read more

Went here for an upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Everyone was very professional and kind. Dr Troy did a great job

Bloodwork came back inconclusive and X-Rays were unreadable by my Orthopedist. My insurance didn't cover their billing normally and now I'm stuck with a $700 bill to boot. Unless I'm unconscious in an ambulance, I will never return to this hospital. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Last year (2019), my son over injected insulin while having as severe medicine induced reaction (overdose of insulin). Skyline Hospital doctor took him off that medication. They knew that was the cause but it still shows on his medical records/computer as an overdose of insulin. Not one word on his medical/computer record shows that it was a overdose of insuln induced reaction. This Friday (2020) he had another drastic reaction to another of his medicines two different times on same day. The Hood River Fire Department never hesitated to take him to Providence Memorial Hospital. Later that same night, I had to call 911 again. This time the White Salmon paramedics told me 3 times that it would do no good to take my son to the hospital because they would observe him and release him. I insisted they take him to Providence Memorial Hospital. He stayed in the hospital Friday thru Sunday. Because of computer information, 3 doctors thought his mother was overdosing him and refused to believe that it was his medicine induced reaction. They checked him thoroughly for heart problems, tumor, cancer and a lot of other things. They refused to look at even the possibility of a medicine induced reaction while continuing to believe his mother overdosed him. BUT at discharge the only change to his medicine was to cut that reaction medicine in half.....His medical/computer records still show no comments that he had a medicine induced reaction. The 3 doctors did not come right out and accuse the mother BUT insinuated that she overdose him. Now if and when my son goes back to the hospital for any reason....they will continue to have that information on his medical records/computer.....and most probably point at the mother. read more
