Dr. Chambers is magic !! Or perhaps it's miracles!! I don't know which and I don't care! I walked into this man's office almost 3 years ago. I was in so much pain I was fighting tears just to get through the door.... I walked out with relief. The other dr.s and surgeons say I HAVE to have surgery.... Dr. chambers makes it so I don't have to have surgery. Not only has he gave me my life back he has taught me how to be gently with myself and he fixes it when I don't remember to be gentle. My pain is not completely gone.... But it is so so much better!! This man is my life line!! He is genuinely happy to see you when you come in. Dr. Chambers has changed my life. I read the other reviews (from some time ago) and was so desperate for help that I decided to go...on the extremely remote option that I would finally get some help for my chronic pain. I've had 5 serious abdominal/lower back surgeries in the last 6 years. I work in hospitals (I'm a psych). I've spent $70,000 out of pocket for hospital co-pays, etc. (I know it doesn't seem real...until this story happens to you.) Our health care system is sick. As long as I stayed in it, I was going to continue to get sicker (and poorer.) Then last year I came here. I was desperate for pain relief in my lower back. DESPERATE. I'd already been through PT, etc. All of it. I was depressed because I really didn't think anyone could help me....and I doggedly kept trying to find help. I mean- it's my gig. I study medicine. I read clinical studies daily for work. But I could not find a way out. So I took the leap of faith. Dr. Chambers wasn't like the other doctors. He hugged me! He's said, "I'm glad you came in today." And he actually (really!!) means it! His approach is warm, beautiful, and *healing.* His approach is completely opposite of our medical system: you walk out better than when you came in. Period. My pain is not gone- but my spine was completely goofed up. The X rays alone are worth the visit (besides getting a wonderful break from our other feel-worse, get the bill later, system.) My spine had started to curve inward- like my spine was trying to protect the area that got continually assaulted through surgery. It is not a quick fix. But it is REAL. Through Dr. Chambers I got my life back. I started to hike again. I started to literally BREATHE again. I look forward to my appointments and bounce out when I'm done. (Surgeries took my bounce out.) But you know what the biggest thing was? All my surgeons left me with LESS (I traveled all over the nation because my case was so severe....I met "the good ones") Less body. Less vitality. A hell of a lot less money. And I was worse than I started. Dr. Chambers gives you what you need: someone to BELIEVE in you. To say, "it is good to see you!" and mean it (I almost cried writing that- it means so much when all you've been seen as is a walking broken pocketbook.) He's the only one - in the years of ultrasounds, CT Scans, MRIS, that took a picture of my spine- and said "here is is!" Remember- I'm clinical and cynical. I've been through it. If he was giving me a load of BS- I would know it. I am so glad I had the courage to try One More Time. Dr. Chambers changed my life. It's hard not to cry while I write this- I read the other reviews and went "yeah- it worked for them, but it never seems to work for me." I thought- if this actually works, I'll write a review- and then- wouldn't it be amazing?! To be on the other side and actually have HEALED? I couldn't imagine the possibility. It is here. You just have to be open to going in a different door. It's not a quick fix. It's not like our health system....and that is exactly why it works!! Member Since November 2018.... February 21,2019 I came to Network by word of mouth... from many locals that were cured of their aches and pains and had no idea how it worked but went anyway. I had some idea of what Network was about, when I studied up on Donny Epstein's work. It is impossible to categorize him and understand how profound this "process/work" really is. It seems to me to be the future of healing....ourselves... I have worked on the computer for 30 years for long hours, and was having such debilitating back, shoulder, neck pain from all the sitting and my out of whack posture- eye strain and brain fog had also become issues as I've aged; I struggled with focus and constantly second guessed myself in my work and life. My body was struggling to maintain it's abilities, and I thought I would have to stop working at one point. I'd also sustained a very bad 26 year old snowboard injury and coccyx damage from skiing over the years. The whole left side of my body and lower back, sciatica etc.. I was in pain everyday upon waking, even yoga was painful and I had to limit myself. I had a pinched nerve. I waited few days to let my body heal on its own, but when I realized this might not go away as fast as I thought, I searched for chiropractors and found Columbia River Wellness. Network Spinal Analysis Care is an evidence-based approach to wellness and body awareness. Dr. Chambers applies gentle touch, taps the body on the neck, spine, legs or jiggles the heels; soon he sees the patient's body respond and start to work with the adjustment, he then steps back and lets the patient's bodywork with the adjustment. This encourages and teaches the body to become self-corrective and more self-reliant in the future. I was a patient of Ian's in Santa Cruz for 5 years until he left. I went through all the levels and then continued weekly tune ups for 2 or 3 years. I purchased 6 months at a time when that was an option. I love Network Chiro in general and Ian's work in particular. When I started in 2011 I read the intake and realized how much trauma, toxicity and stress I had experienced over the course of life. I thought to myself if Network could lift the residue of 49 years of of my system I'd be way better off. Done. Over the next 2 or 3 years I got a taste for how good life could be. I have been a patient for a year now. I was in SO much pain from a herniated disc in my lower back and now I feel like a new woman! My regular doctor was talking injections and possibly surgery next. I was having shooting pain down my legs, numbness in my toes and could barely get out of bed most mornings. I'm so thankful that a friend referred me to Dr. Ian Chambers! I was having low back pain and once I started treatments with Dr. Chambers, it began subsiding right away. In fact, during my first treatment, he sensed that I was having heartburn. I had been experiencing this for several months with no relief from closely watching what I ate or taking antacids. After a few gentle touches to my spine, my heartburn was gone! While looking at myself in a mirror, it was evident that my shoulders were uneven. Dr. Chambers also noticed that my my spine wasn't in alignment, my hips were tipped to one side and rotated, one leg was shorter than the other and I carried my head too far forward. Not anymore!
