Mick was our driver and he was not only on time, he was 15 minutes early. When the hotel front desk staff wasn't helpful in contacting us to let us know he was there, Mick was patient and persistent and we connected, almost by chance in the lobby as our luggage was being brought down. The luggage was loaded into the trunk of Mick's new Hyundai, an attractive model not found in the US as far as I know. He skillfully and courteously drove us out of London, though traffic and right up to the terminal where the ship was docked. He made excellent time and good conversation as well. The cost was about £125, which seems reasonable for that distance and for the convenience of door-to-door transportation. We would use Smith's again. Alan's only complaint was that the car wasn't a bit larger, because he felt cramped in the back seat.

I went to their web page and filled out the electronic form. Within 30 minutes, I had a quote of 92 pounds- roughly $150.00 each way (300.00 round trip) for all three people and all our luggage. The cruise line on the other hand offered a transfer via bus, with restrictions on the amount and weight of our luggage for 100.00 USD per person each way ($600.00). I booked via email and they answered my emails within minutes. I had a last minute change in pickup location (See my review of the Heathrow Sheraton) and emailed Smith's. It wasn't a problem.... They replied in minutes. They showed up in a almost brand new mini van and were on time. The drivers were polite and dressed professionally. Upon pickup, I again had a last minute change of pickup times.... Easily done via email. I would highly recommend Smith's for transportation needs in and out of Heathrow

I ran up waved at him that we needed the bus, he looked me in the eyes and waived me off. Next bus is 40 minutes at least. Horrible service to leave early and ignore passengers who are relying on you to get them somewhere punctually.

Of the 5 different terminals at this airport, of course Continental Airlines uses that one. I managed to catch a free transfer and hauled my luggage onto it for the trip around the airport perimeter to Terminal 5. Once there, I figured out where to buy the ticket (there are two ticket stands and one was closed) and stepped outside to the appropriate bus stop. Small piece of luck, the bus arrived a few moments later. Excellent and extremely courteous bus driver, he put my very heavy luggage underneath without complaint and we were off. The drive to Reading was about a half hour in light traffic and I was able to entertain myself with free wi-fi on board. When we did get to Reading, he helped my drag my luggage over to the taxi stand. In the rain! Thank you! Not the most comfortable of seats, as a 6' tall American, I had to twist sideways in order to avoid banging my knees into the seat in front. I will absolutely use this service again. Strong recommendation! Save £1 and buy your ticket online.

Booked an arrival and return pick-up, for a total of 98 British Pounds. Not bad at all for a two way ride! ( A Black Cab will cost over 100 Pounds one-way from the airport) My driver called my cell phone at pre-arranged time, upon landing at Heathrow. He greeted us at the arrival exit, with a placard with my full name on it. The driver was very courteous and helpful with our luggage to the car. Bottles of waters are available in the car. On our return trip to the airport, the assigned driver arrived at the hotel early for pick-up and gave me a call. No stress and no-frills impeccable service! Highly recommended for travelers arriving in London with spouse/family and a lot of luggage! I cant imagine people travelling any other way!

From start to finish, the service was outstanding. It was really easy to book through their website, and they answered my questions promptly through email. Since we were traveling from the US, we bought eSIMs for our phones which only had a data plan. Luckily, the drivers are available on WhatsApp, so we were able to talk to them whenever we needed to. One especially nice feature was that we were able to book a driver for the entire day to visit Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. This allowed us to visit these places at our own pace, as opposed to booking a bus tour. We requested a Filipino driver who spoke Tagalog so we could have pleasant and easy conversations during the long drive there. He even accommodated our request to stop by a Costco on our way back to the hotel! The vehicles were clean, comfortable, and spacious, and we felt well taken care of every step of the way. Traveling with a big family can be stressful, but Dinez Taxis made everything smooth and hassle-free. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and friendly transportation in the UK.

We landed in Gatwick at 7 AM and needed to go straight to Stonehenge then Bath then Oxford before checking into our hotel. Our driver VINCENT was very prompt and knowledgeable. A friend needed to go to hospital early this morning for a medical procedure. They were stressed…read moreand so, I offered to book and pay for their taxi. The booking went fine and I was sent a link to pay the £32 fare. I was paying with a UK card, but I was at the time in Spain. My card notifications told me that the payment had been authorised. But no taxi came. I went back on and they suggested I asked someone to pay in the UK. Which I did and payment was taken. But no taxi arrived, and panic set in. I contacted the firm - and was told that the system closes the booking down after a period of time (which makes sense). But it would have been helpful to have been given that information when I reported my problem - leading to me paying via a Uk situated person. And it would be better if the system sent a notification that the order was cancelled/time cancelled. And it would have been better if ONCE AN ORDER HAS BEEB TIME CANCELLED that the system would not STILL accept payment. The hospital appointment was missed.

The driver was polite and said that he had picked us up many times before. One hour later we called City Wide to take us home the same route but this time a different taxi driver of the same company asked for £6.20 and when I complained to him that he had over charged me he said "that's the price" and sped off after initially ignoring me, he was very rude and is conduct was totally opposite to the outward journey driver. We rang City Wide to complain and "Cara" said after checking that the charge for that route is £5.40 and took our details and promised to get the manager, who was off, to call us back, he didn't hence this email to you. The taxi driver cab was number 207 and the car was a blue Skoda Octavia registration number HN66FEH. Whilst we appreciate that this is a small over charge of 70p we are getting concerned that this is more the usual practise rather than a one off and this coupled with no reply from the manager is not good practise. Use AQUA they also have faults but they have never overcharged me or not responded when assistance is needed.
