The guy (owner) got absolutely unglued that I wanted to hold off on such a huge purchase while accusing me of shopping there in his showroom just so I could "go online" and actually buy it somewhere else. Such an angry little sad man. A disgrace. Later in the month I actually found a different vendor, same product line and was treated superbly. Couldn't have worked out better. Hopefully (Un)creative lighting closes for good

We stumbled upon this store (very close to us - I think we stumbled - or maybe John had heard of…read moreit) - when we started to build our dream house six years ago. They have some beautiful Hubbardton Forge - which is hard not to be distracted by - but also lots of beautiful lower priced lights. Great prices for what they have (I think. I've always been very happy). If you want a less expensive light - definitely go to Home Depot or .... we don't have one - but Ikea. ... But I think we've bought almost everything in our house from this place. I've searched the internet, Craigs List, eBay, other stores - but we continue to find ourselves back at Creative lighting. Today we selected (likely to space out with the actual buying) our bathroom vanity lights (two) and a fan for our living room. And pendants for kitchen. Incredible salesmen. Or as we refer to them: Brian and Chris. Brian definitely came to our house six years ago - and we still chat with him as if he remembers the layout well (I'm sure there was no flooring as we talked at length about the dining room / kitchen split challenge). I don't know if he actually remembers - but perhaps that doesn't matter. If you want to talk with someone about lights: go to their showroom. And tell them what you want. It's a great place.

Interesting spiky balls that look huge medieval morning star maces mounted on balusters from an old fence (sorry: we took these home!). Tables made from old wood. The owner has a great eye and is very creative in putting these materials to use: nothing clunky or trite here. And the prices are generally very good considering the imagination and quality of the pieces.

The finished product looks fantastic, and I couldn't be happier with it. - replaced an an old backup generator circuit and transfer switch to a much simpler and reliable 240v circuit with mechanical interlock and it worked a treat during two storms paired with a harbor freight generator. - installed and calibrated an led flood light 30 some odd feet off the ground - installed a google Nest outdoor camera with floodlight and a nest doorbell camera - He also found and replaced a crumbling old circuit to my water pump that I had no idea was arcing and could have caused a fire. I'm so grateful for his expertise and attention to detail, which undoubtedly saved my home from a potentially catastrophic situation.
