After acceptance of his bid he gave us a date when he could do the job and he was right on time. Basically he did a good job, though there were a few snafus. Overall, he and his wife are very good people and I would use the company again.

The owner (Bob) provides quick, free estimates and works with you directly to design your fence project. He provides detailed advice on what will look the best and is very precise in following fencing best practices (they use screws, not nails; top notch hardware; evenly spaced boards, etc.) He and his colleague worked their butts off to put up a beautiful fence in just a few days. Price was very reasonable - we had a few quotes. Overall, we were very pleased with the results!

We had just recently moved into our house and discovered a water leak coming from a faulty shower pan. The Walton's analyzed the problem and made recommendations for repair which included replacement of the shower sub-flooring which showed clear signs of water damage. They used shower tiles from the damaged tiles to make tile-design recommendations for upgrading the shower and adjoining tiled-walls. They were responsible for shower deconstruction, flooring repair, and for re-tiling. Everything that they did was done with the utmost care. Nothing was rushed and every tile that was placed was custom fit. They are extremely conscientious, honest and a pleasure to interact with. Their job estimate was more than competitive. Their showroom has a great tile selection. We highly recommend them!

One company said they couldn't even do an estimate until the end of June. Another came out and said I needed a new roof. Rooftop is well known and well respected in Charlottesville and they said they would send someone out the next day. If it was in fact a small job, they would just complete it. If major, they'd give me an estimate. True to their word, two workers appeared the next day and were quickly up on the roof. I heard hammering in an area other than the one I knew about. They told me there was another small area that was missing and the workers quickly repaired both and were gone. Price was very fair and I would use them again without question.

We are so glad we found Blue Ocean Granite in Troy, VA, and cannot recommend them enough. This is…read moremy second time working with them, and they consistently exceed expectations. We first used them for the countertops in our two bathrooms and were so happy with the result that we returned for our kitchen. The staff and owners were incredibly helpful, spending hours with us as we navigated their vast stone inventory. We finally chose a beautiful dolomite countertop that looks like a summer blue sky on a cloudy day in leathered finish. It truly brightened our kitchen and added a touch of elegance to the room. The installation was meticulous, the communication was excellent, and the price was very reasonable compared to other places we looked at. We also ended up buying our faucets and drawer handles from them. We were impressed with the quality--the faucets are all metal with no plastic parts, and the handles are solid and well-made. When we needed a few extra handles we went to another store because we were in a hurry, we immediately noticed the difference in quality. The handles from Blue Ocean had smooth edges and were a little cheaper, so we went back to order the rest from them. If you need a countertop, they should absolutely be at the top of your list.
