Lauren got to us early and was so sweet trying to calm my friend down who was mortified at going up. You go to the office and sign a few waivers and watch a safety video while getting a quick walk through. Unfortunately, you can't take your own GoPro up so I purchased the picture packages for $99 (totally worth it). I flew up with Marco who was so knowledgeable giving me pointers on how to fly and pointing out landmarks including Lake Okeechobee. There are also a lot of pretty pastures, ponds, and cows to look down on. The ride was about 5-7 minutes and reached 1200ft. I've been recommending it to all my friends since I landed. Book a trip, you won't regret it!

Came with a $64 Groupon & opted to bump up to the 2,000 ft experience as opposed to the standard 1,000 ft experience & the total including tip & tax was an additional $87.00 & worth the extra Due to the extra height requirements of the flight we had to wait around an hour for the clouds to part. In the meantime there was a streaky stream of 1,000ft rides taking place. I must say the 2,000ft experience is an altogether different experience from the 1,000ft option. The time difference in the rides is like 15 minutes for the 2,000 ft as opposed to around 5 minutes for the 1,000ft ride. All in all a great adrenaline rush for sure!!!

I was shocked how quickly we got on the plane from the moment we arrived, it seemed like it was only about 20min (a much quicker turn around time from my previous experience in Michigan). Everyone was extremely friendly all the way down to the dog Winchester who was in the hanger. As someone who has jumped at 10k and now 13k feet I highly recommend going for 13k feet. My only issue was I did not buy the photo package because I had photos from my last jump and the instructor took the camera anyway saying if I wanted to buy them I could. It took away from the experience having to consistently pose for the camera which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. If you do not want the photos, be persistent that the instructor not take the camera. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience and would absolutely go back!

The building is a stand alone building towards the end of a shopping plaza. An instructor does go in with you.. helps you get in , holds you while flying and helps you exit. The controller is carefully watching and working with the instrument. The instructor will direct you to look at the controller if any adjustments are needed in the posture. The controller will motion of your left arms higher. The instructor will go as high as you're comfortable. Her group was paired with another With another group.. all sitting lined up for their turn. My niece group had 2 rounds like about a few minutes. It was nice he did a little show at the end. The place is rather cozy with a changing room and party room. No concession stands. They had two vending machines . Soft drinks and chips for purchased. I walked in with a bottle of water and I was allowed too. They had a cute angel wing photo crop to take pics. Plenty of sitting area to watch the flyers! I recommend if you want the sky dive experience but not ready to through yourself off the plane yet. There were several things that were critical to me: 1) well maintained aircraft 2) advanced cockpit/glass panel and 3) exceptionally good instruction I found all 3 at Berichi Aviation so I traveled from Virginia to knock out my add-on in short order. I had all the necessary info ahead of time which meant that we were effectively training right away. Charlie relied on his experience to assess my abilities and created a bespoke syllabus that eliminated unnecessary time or cycles. The bottom line is that I was over-prepared for my checkride, which in my experience, is exactly what I would have expected.
