Both trainers have less than a year training kids, not a safe environment for children, and i highly doubt the business is legal.

We had the best time here for our 11am standard guided tour. We drove 1.5hr south from Jensen Beach…read morefor this tour and it was so worth it. We had no issue finding the location, just know that you are to park along the road next to the fence. They will come open the gate to greet you are your appointment time. The restrooms are halfway through the tour, so go before if you can. It was just four of us on the tour, my husband and I and another couple. You get walked through their grounds, escorted by staff as they feed the cats. Some are hand fed, some with tongs. You are kept behind the perimeter fence(mostly 3-4ft behind the cage), understandable with children to prevent fingers from entering chomp territory. By attending on a hot day mid May I'd say we saw 60-70% of the cats up close by the fence, some of them were not interested in coming out of their cool spots with their fans blowing on them - completely understandable. In fact, if going on a hot sunny day, wear sunscreen and prepare to be in a lot of direct sunlight. I was not prepared and got burnt. For $50/person this tour is so worth it. We had so much fun and our guide did a terrific job sharing her knowledge of the cats and all the fun facts. She said she was fairly new, but you could tell the cats already trusted her. As adults my husband and I had an amazing time, I can't even imagine how much kids would love this place. The gift shop was great too, we made sure to get our souvenirs including tshirts and hats. Come support this wonderful NPO - not only do that have great tours but you can tell these cats are incredibly healthy and very loved. Their cages were so unbelievably clean I was so impressed.

This was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend. We had a private tour with a very…read moreknowledgeable staff member who gave us the backgrounds on all of the different cats they have on site. We went in the hottest part of the day. It would be better to go when it's cooler. The cats would be more active.

Seminole Palms Park - Water ride

Seminole Palms Park

This is a huge district/county park -- about 70 acres. It was easy to find with clear signage just…read morenorth of the Costco. There's lots of open land, lots of trees, and a wealth of activity areas including a water park. When we stopped by on a rainy afternoon, there weren't many people in the park at all. Some of the many activity areas include: Half a dozen baseball fields, a couple softball fields, a few multi purpose fields, and a playground for the little ones with various structures. None of the fields were occupied when we were there. And then there are the picnic areas -- some tables with grills. And even a picnic pavilion that is good for groups. It can be rented. Plus on top of all this -- a water park. The Calypso Bay Waterpark even has its own entrance. There's an entrance fee for this seasonal park. There's a lap pool, river ride, water slide, and a water "playground". Prices to enter depend on one's age. It was closed when we dropped by. I think it reopens in March, but call for dates before you come. This water park would be perfect for swimming lessons and/or kids birthday parties. This big park must really be busy in spring/summer. And when the ball games are being played. There are a plethora of parking spaces! It seemed a bit eerie to drive by all the empty spaces the day we came.

This park is open every day from sunrise until sunset. Seminole Palms Park amenities include 6 lighted baseball fields, 2 lighted softball fields, 3 multipurpose fields, picnic pavilions and picnic tables with grills, restrooms, and playground. The park is also home to the Calypso Bay Waterpark which has an interactive water playground, lap pool, lazy river, 2 water slides, and food concession. Sports field parks are not my personal favorite kind of park but Seminole Palms is beautifully maintained and provides a great recreations resource for the many sports teams in the area. The water park looks very family friendly for anyone looking to cool down on a hot day. Come out this park to enjoy the athletic fields, picnic areas, playground, and the seasonal water park.

Sunsport Gardens Nudist Resort - Wrong turn. I was heading to Swank Farms - thanks Waze!

Sunsport Gardens Nudist Resort

I visited Sunsport as part of a Florida tour with several nudist resort visits and I have to say…read morethis place was by far the worst. The facilities are limited, run down and minimally maintained and the lodging is ridiculously overpriced for dingy, uninviting cabins with questionable cleanliness. There's a pool and a hot tub that definitely needs a deep scrub as the water gives off a brown/yellow sheen. There's also a rickey little sauna that does its job but rarely feels appetizing given the Florida heat and humidity. The food options are limited and barely crossing the edible threshold. The vibe is strange and the energy is a bit dead in the eyes. It's not a particularly friendly spirit and some of the residents - one creepy, bald dude in particular - are downright rude and unpleasant (and this guy was definitely toeing the line of harassment). There are many other nudist resorts in Florida with better activities, facilities and social settings so do yourself a favor and skip this one.
