I have a Cape Cod style house with a large dormer out the back which covers the upstairs bathroom…read more After all the rain this past summer, I found water spots in the bathroom ceiling. I called two roofing companies for estimates. One wouldn't touch the job unless they got to do the whole roof at a cost of $12,000+. The other would do just the repairs to the dormer but not guarantee the work. I called my insurance agent and found insurance would not pay to repair/replace. He referred me to Sharon Roofing. Fred came out the next day. He actually went UP ON THE ROOF to look (the other two didn't), he took pictures of what he thought may be the problem and showed them to me. While he was up there, he caulked the cracks and holes that he saw (no charge). He gave me a very reasonable estimate and included a guarantee of the work and materials. The job was done 10/13/2021. I'm extremely pleased with their efficiency and professionalism, and happy with the job overall.

I contacted Angel Diaz 6/4/25 to discuss, and he indicated he would come out and take a look that evening. He did not, nor did he come out 6/5. He then texted me 6/6 asking when was a good time to come out only to no-show no call that as well. He then failed to respond to multiple texts. Called him again 6/11 and he said he'd be out that evening only to no-show/no-call once again. Called him again 6/12. Angel made a point of reminding me he had not provided a contract or itemized invoice for his services (which he offered a discount for, so he could later claim he had no obligation), then provided a litany of excuses why he hadn't fulfilled his promises to inspect the issue. Instead of paying Mr. Diaz for his services flush your money down the toilet, find a new company, and save yourself the trouble.

I always put extra time and energy into researching contractors before picking a contractor. After…read morea hail storm a few years ago I allowed the rest of my neighborhood pick their roofers so I could understand who was the best, and who to avoid. So many "storm chaser" roofers came into our neighborhood and spent a lot of time here through next year advertising door to door, but Durst came with the highest recommendations from home owners that had done work with them prior to the storm. I have nothing but the best things to say about Dustin and his team. They were prompt, worked fast and did quality work. Even a few years later, they still come out to the edges of their service area for service calls after severe winter weather. I've yet to see any of those "storm chaser" companies back in our neighborhood to service their previous customers since roofs were installed. I'll always recommend Durst to anyone that asks, they're the best.

They helped us decide what was the best option for us and completed the job very quickly. They even came out to fix one spot that we didn't like with out hesitation or question. The only thing we thought was odd was when they came to the house to get the payment. We thought we would mail it but she wanted it right then. Not a huge deal for us but we've never done that before. We are very happy with the end product. It is a beautiful stamped concrete patio and sidewalk.

It took his crew TWO MONTHS to install a small home steel roof. During that time we had several leaks and the crew leader shook it off saying "I have insurance" as if to say "not my problem we cannot keep a schedule or install roofing correctly". Called Mike several times to get this corrected and the crew showed up at my house upset because I called their boss! Mike had also promised some "gift cards" to make up for the inconvenience (never saw them, was happier to see the crew finally leave). And lastly, we are still having issues with our porch roof leaking and they never bothered to even email, phone concerning the issue. My advice from our experience is to steer clear of this contractor at all costs!

The suggestion paired up beautifully. Their expertise, promptness and professionalism is next to none. We have a few more jobs lined up and will look no further than Wiltrout Roofing. A big, "THANK YOU," to the crew for their hard work, especially on the couple of cold mornings we had.
