Dr. Kazemi is a great periodontist! The staff is excellent too. I've been treated by Dr. Kazemi twice now. The first time was about 8 years ago, when he helped me put an end to a long dental nightmare. My troubles began with some botched cosmetic dentistry by my regular dentist, which lead to infection in my jawbone that would ultimately require the removal of 4 front teeth, bone grafting, 2 dental implants and placement of a bridge where my 4 teeth had been. I had consultations with 3 of the top periodontists in the area prior to having all this work done. I selected Dr. Kazemi because he has such great credentials and I found him to be a very caring professional. He showed genuine concern for my situation, and his calm and caring demeanor put me at ease. I experienced no pain during this extensive work and great follow up care too from him and the office staff to make sure my recovery was going well. I recently need another tooth extraction, bone grafting, and implant. I chose Dr. Kazemi again even though he was not an "in network" periodontist and I knew I was going to get very little, if any, reimbursement from my dental insurance provider. I was surprised when my regular dentist suspected I had gum disease. I met with Dr. Yasner at SKY Periodontics. During the first visit he did a thorough examination explaining everything as he went along and what his course of action would be. The next visit he did a deep cleaning of the diseased area and some maintenance issues on surrounding teeth. His staff showed me how to properly care for the area in question. I was a patient there for 15 years. Dr. Sullivan was excellent the best. He has since retired. It seems the practice has fallen apart since. My dental hygienist Terry also very professional and excellent. She has cleaned my teeth for 15 years. I had an appointment scheduled the office canceled on me then rescheduled me with another hygienist. I took time off work went in and no Terry. Completely screwed up. I was very upset not to mention all the times they were calling me on my way there. New office manager completely unprofessional. Called back to reschedule and they refuse me healthcare after 15 years. That's OK I'm better off elsewhere stay clear of that office do yourself a favor. You'll be happy you did. Update yes I did complain to the board of dentistry absolutely that will just show you how severe the complaint was. I was a patient there for over 15 years no problems until recently with the change I would advise anybody to stay clear of this office. I'll have to agree with the comment from another reviewer, that this dental/periodontal practice has declined in recent years. You can still get a very good cleaning here. However, it might be accompanied with some condescension and disrespect - features that I hadn't observed until recently. In addition, the facility is equipped with a ventilation system designed [apparently] to reduce the risk of infection to the medical staff, but at the expense of greater risk to the patient. Air exhaust tubes are placed inches below the patient's nostrils, sucking exhaled air and droplets from medical staff right past the patient's nose before being removed from the building. In my opinion, the air ducts should instead be located on an "extraction arm" or snorkel above and in front of the patient. However, that approach might have cost the practice a bit more to implement. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this provider. read more

I went to this practice to have a broken tooth built up so it would be able to hold a crown. The care I received from the Dr. and Staff, was excellent and attentive. I was under the care of the new doctor, in the practice, Dr. Vu Dang La DMD PHD. Dr. La has a very professional friendly manner. He explained very clearly how he was going to save my broken tooth to build up the base, in order to have a cap placed on it. His post instructions were clear, also. My procedure went well, post procedure went great and my tooth was saved. I am happy to recommend Dr. La to everyone! read more

My bro had this same surgery with another dr, and it took over 3 hours and had dietary restrictions. I was really amazed that Dr. La took only an hour and was really able to go back to my regular diet within less than a week. He did an excellent job and cannot even tell after a month that I had anything done. The office personnel were great and worked with my insurance company. I cannot say enough about my experience. I can't recommend Dr. Yasner and his staff highly enough. I recently completed the year long process of having my front top tooth extracted, bone grafted and an implant inserted. I had a number of visits with Dr. Yasner, including the initial consultation, the tooth extraction and bone graft, a number of follow-up visits to check the progress, the implant, more follow-ups, and a final check-up after the crown was placed by my dentist. Dr. Yasner and his staff made this experience as pleasant as an extraction and dental surgery can be. Dr. Yasner has a great bedside manner, clearing explaining everything that he is doing while operating. He also has a good sense of humor and is a good listener. His office is, by far, the most efficient doctor's office I have ever gone to. I never had more than a 5 minute wait upon arriving. Once in, I was done quickly, though I never felt rushed and Dr. Yasner took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Yasner and his office did a great job communicating and coordinating with my dentist (who was responsible for placing the crown), handling my insurance, and doing their part to result in a great looking new tooth. His staff even called the day after any procedure to check on my recovery. His pain management worked great with me, as I had minimal pain and little to no swelling. read more

I have struggled with my top front teeth for most of my life. Essentially, I learned to avoid using them and to hope that the cosmetic fix of the moment would not fail, especially at an inopportune time. Finally at age 50, I consulted with Dr. Michael Yasner of Sullivan, Yasner & Kazemi in Cherry Hill, NJ and received dental implants. Many would take for granted being able to bite into foods with your front teeth, such as corn on the cob and apples, but for me the experience was transforming. Not only can I use and enjoy my teeth, but I no longer live with the anxiety of them failing, not to mention the pain and discomfort from the frequent problems and infections that developed over the years. The teeth look totally natural - much more so than previous alternatives - and they are easier to care for than my own teeth. Dr. Yasner and his staff could not have been more accommodating, patient and helpful. I fully understood what to expect at each step of the process. The office environment is peaceful and lovely, appointments were always handled on time and the doctor and his staff were easily accessible by phone. I felt that they truly cared about my comfort, well being and the success of the implants on every level. I would return to this practice for future dental implant needs in a heartbeat and, after this experience, I would without a doubt choose dental implants as the solution to any future failure of my natural teeth. read more
