Sara is wonderful! My first time here. She was warm and welcoming. I recieved a fantastic pedicure and manicure. Sara suggested i use gel coat on my nails instead of applying acrylic or gel nails because my nails are so thin and split. I love them. The price was fantastic too. I walked in and scheduled an appointment for a couple hours later. Ill definitely be back. The building is old but i received wonderful service! read more

This place is a joke when it comes to nails. The man who works here left for the day in a hurry closed the shop my nails weren't even dry. He scratched up my fingers so bad and left them dry around the edges from the file. They look so terrible!! I'm laughing because they look like a complete joke Also he stained them with his pen somehow??... AVOID this place at all costs. read more

They were friendly enough to me I wouldn't say the best customer service. The owner of the establishment didn't present himself professionally and the experience was uncomfortable. They got my nails to the length requested and shaped them good but it seemed like they did a rush job on the polish so it looks really wonky. I don't expect them to last long and I'm overalls kinda dissatisfied. I don't think it was worth what I paid and I probably won't go there again nor do I recommend anyone going there. read more

My nails have come out pretty good the few times I was there. But the owner (man) is very rude and I'm super uncomfortable every time I go there. He was so rude and careless last time that I didn't even leave a tip. I'll still go in hopes I get the woman nail technician but I always end up with him. Went in for a fill. Was questioned about why I was there, where I normally went, and why didn't I go there, were they not open today. Shouldn't they just be happy to have the business? The fill was ok but the polish application was awful. Polish is not smooth in places and not shiny in places. The posted price for a fill on the door was $18 but I was charged $30. The customer service from the lady was really good, she was nice and I held a good conversation with her. The gentleman on the other hand, while he was putting the powder on my nail, he called dominos and ordered food, then when someone called to make an appointment, he put the powder on and just left without putting it on properly, which ending in my nail being slanted and me having to come home and re shape it myself. Also, the man didn't even ask what shape I want he just assumed I wanted square. Then didn't even bother shaping all of them the same. Had to give this nail place a shot because it is in town and I didn't feel like driving to Boise but I will not be coming here again read more

Went in about 1 1/2 weeks ago after seeing a friends nails and loving them! She told me to go here. When I walked in they were willing to see then but I wanted to not have my kids with me; so they let me make an appointment to come back later that afternoon. Got a very nice gel manicure. The people were friendly. Not too talkative, which I like. If I lived here, I would be a regular.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This guy is so rude. If you ever get your nails done anywhere else he will complain about how terrible they are. I needed a quick fill today, and went in only because my nail tech is an hour away. Complained because I must have had my nails done by "an American" (which is true) but he did the same thing to me the last time I went in. Sorry, but I haven't had any issues in the past 7 weeks with her nails, no lifting no breaks. Started fighting with me about it, and I walked out. I will definitely never be back into this "salon" again! read more

Tony was absolutely terrible. He was sick with allergies and it was overall disgusting. The coughing, sneezing, burping, and stopping on my nails REPEATEDLY to watch sports on his phone was extremely unprofessional. Also, he was way too quick. He clipped my nails unevenly and was pulling and twisting my fingers when filing my nails. I could understand if he was quick and actually did a great job, but no, he was moreso worried about leaving rather than his customer. Nails were filed way too far up, causing them to stick out awkwardly. Tony does not know how to do acrylic nails. I have been to way better nail techs, where the acrylic nail actually looks natural and they TAKE THEIR TIME. I left with paint on my cuticles and on my actual fingers. Pretty much everywhere except my actual fingernails. The nails were done very poorly. At one point I became frustrated so I just got up and left, ugly nails and all. However, the girl that did my pedicure was great. She did a basic pedicure, barely any massage. If it wasn't for her, this review would have 1 star. In conclusion, I will never return to Sky Nails due to their terrible service, unless I am in desperate need for a pedicure. read more

I've been going to Sky Nails for 5 years and it's my #1 place to get my nails done. They always do perfect work for me.

I visted this salon while a friend was in town. It was the only place with openings last minute. There are only two pedicure chairs in the entire salon. The place was some what dingy and not the cleaness. It wasnt enough to deter us. They started my friends pedicure before mine, there are only two people working but the other enployee went to have lunch and a smoke break( in the back room) of the shop. My friend was halfway done before they haphazardly cleaned the bowl of the chair. They let us soak for all of 45 seconds before starting on our pedicure. I honestly do not think that they sanitized the bowls or the tools very well before starting. They used bath and body works lemon cello hand soap and did not scrub or exfoliate our feet at all. They used what seemed to be tools from the dollar store and hand soap to wash our feet. Not to mention, the man working with my friend proceeded to loudly burp very close to her face. If I wasnt enjoying the conversation and time away from kids with my friend we would have left. I cannot speak about the manicures, but my overall experience was mediocre. For a 25$ pedicure it was alright. I wont be going back. read more

I give them 0 out of 5 stars. My sister and I went in a few days ago to get full sets done, the lady who helped me got so far as to glue one acrylic nail on me and then she left. Got in her car and left. Not sure where she went, but I sat there for 10 min. The man who was working on my sisters nails said that the style she wanted was ugly, and he kept telling her that her nails were ugly. When he was finished with hers, he moved to mine and he was extremely rude. I asked him to do 3 very simple things and he turned me down every time. I told him I wanted the same color nails as my sister, he lied to me and told me he put it back on the shelf, and painted my nails a nasty purplish brown color. Very unsatisfied. I'm having to go to a different nail salon to have them fixed. They are all very disrespectful and don't treat their customers as a priority. He acted as if I was a bother for even coming in, even though I called a week in advance and made appointments. I will never go there again and HIGHLY recommend everyone go elsewhere. read more
