My 9 y/o started taekwondo a few months ago. I was a little concerned that he would be too old, but he's not - there's other kids his age in his class. It has been the perfect extracurricular activity for my son - he gets a workout, learns about self discipline and respect, and and we won't have to spend all our weekends at sporting events, haha. Sometimes, he's feeling tired and doesn't want to go but I make him go anyway, and he says afterwards that he had a good time and he's glad he went. The instructors/masters are really great with the kids. It's very convenient coordinating with the office because you can text them questions and they'll get back to you. My son used to be very timid (e.g. afraid to go on amusement parks) but I have noticed him becoming more confident and adventurous since starting taekwondo. If I had known how great it would be for him, we would have started him in it years ago! I highly recommend!! read more

This place is great with kids. Mine is in the power rangers class. This place has very encouraging instructors and had helped tremendously with discipline. Such as teaching them the correct way to bow and staying still, which is really hard for a 5 year old. All the instructors are awesome! My kid goes twice a week but every morning he asks if today is the day he goes to tai kwon do. What I really like about this place is that master Dante will ask the kids are they supposed to push or shove their friends. He teaches them from right and wrong but also engages them in a fun way. It is a place to literally let out your anger on kicking. One time, I was so mad at my sister that I kicked out my anger.
