Aventura Mall will always have a special place in my heart…read more Growing up in Miami Beach we often would take the S bus down to Aventura and just hang out. Back then, the S Bus would drop you off at the entrance of the food court and the mall was just 2 floors but look at Aventura Mall now! Completely unrecognizable to the Mall I remember as a teen. Especially since it seems like the average stores I remember are gone and it's all Prada, Gucci, and luxe stores now, but I'm not gonna knock it too much as I took full advantage and stocked up on my Nespresso pods while I was here. At least they still have JC Penny's. I was able to find a Miami Hurricanes shirt to bring back to my dad as a gift. They also have a Joe and the Juice store which I always stop by when I'm here and get a green tonic from them. I have to admit; I like how they revamped the food court so that its modern and has a wide variety of options. They even have a ramen kiosk! We also stopped by the new Eataly store, how can you not right? We didn't eat anything there, but I took advantage and bought some items they had priced on sale. In all honesty, I could see myself coming to Aventura often if I still lived in South Florida. I've always it made it a point to come here when I do visit and will probably continue to do so in the future.

From the moment you arrive, everything about this place feels elevated. The scale alone is impressive--it's not just a mall, it's an experience. You'll find an incredible lineup of designer and luxury boutiques, alongside popular brands, making it easy to go from high-end splurging to everyday shopping all in one visit. Whether you're browsing or on a mission, the selection here is unmatched in South Florida. What truly sets Aventura Mall apart is the variety. The store mix is perfectly curated--fashion, beauty, home, accessories--you name it, it's here. And it's not just about shopping. The dining scene is just as strong, with a wide range of restaurants and cafés that make it easy to turn a quick trip into a full day out. From casual bites to more upscale dining, everything feels thoughtfully selected and consistently high quality. Parking--something that can make or break a shopping experience--is refreshingly easy here. There are multiple garages and plenty of spaces, which is a huge plus, especially for a destination this popular. You never feel like you're fighting just to get in the door. The entire mall is beautifully designed, clean, and well-maintained, with a modern, open feel that makes walking around enjoyable. There's also an upscale, energetic vibe that makes every visit feel a little special--whether you're shopping, dining, or simply strolling. This is, without a doubt, my go-to mall in South Florida. I absolutely love coming here--it never disappoints. If you're looking for variety, luxury, convenience, and a polished shopping experience all in one place, Aventura Mall delivers every single time.

The mall is close to a Sole Mia, a future mixed use development with residential housing, a hotel, and a university campus. Publix, ULTA, and Petco are the anchor stores at Biscayne Commons. Retail stores include Bath and Body Works, Jetset Miami, and Keo Eyewear. You can dine at TGI Friday's, Oishi Thai, 1000 Degrees Pizza, and La Birra Bar. My friend and I came to the shopping plaza for the pop up shop Max'd Out Donuts by Miami's donut king, Max Santiago. Santiago is known for his time at the Salty Donut where he created the famous brioche dough and for opening Batch, the Cookie company in Ft. Lauderdale. He has consulted on opening donut shops all around the world. Until the permanent store opens in Biscayne Commons, you can follow Max'd Out Donuts on Instagram to order boxes which can be picked up in front of the soon to be opened store. This was my first time visiting this shopping plaza and it seemed upscale and well kept. There is a fountain near where the donut store will be. There is a nice mixture of the kinds of stores people need, along with services, and dining. Parking is easy and plentiful. I'm sure once Max'd Out Donuts opens, I'll be stopping by whenever I am in the area.

I used to work nearby and would walk here everday on my lunch hour for something to do. But there really wasn't much here. Then they began to do a lot of contruction and I switched jobs. now i've been back, it looks really nice. A few resturants added, and a bit more reason to stick around. Mostly I come here for the Winn Dixie. Here's a few tenants: Winn Dixie Supermarket, movie theater, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, and Bermuda Bar & Grill. And a few more but i can't remember the name. But its a nice looking upgrade to what was there before!

It just puzzles me how places like the Ipic cinema or any of the restaurants can present themselves in such a filthy way, their excuse being that its not their responsibility to do it, but, still, its the face you are presenting, go pick up the trash in front of you, its your planet after all. Anyway, apparently there is a new security/management company and they seem on top of their game, the mall is spotless now (maybe fat Dezer read my review). Really personable managers Carlos and Willie are making sure the mall is now well kept as far as trash, there's a nice lady in a golf cart with oversize tweezers picking up stuff, nice. ...but don't go on weekends, there's an out of control crowd that rent big party boats, mostly black people for some reason and they come back totally trashed and really misbehave, hey, have to call it like it is! Diners sat at Duffys and other restaurants are exposed to the very worst of drunken behavior by those who are shouting loud for equality, as my Dominican (black) friend remarked as we experienced the worst of food at Duffys, "woah, that's not a good look for our cause''! The Duffys white middle-aged burger eaters are not the type to forgive their already ingrained stereotype and the shitfaced crowd disembarking are just what they want to cement their discriminatory thoughts. Admittedly they are mostly out of town tourists having a good time and don't give a shit how they are being perceived, shame really, all I ask is don't chuck your Hennessy bottles in the mangroves, its so hard to get them out of the tangled roots), oh and just because every other word in a song nowadays is ''fucking'' it doesn't mean you have to repeat them. Oh, and please, if you don't have the body for a thong don't bring it on vacation with you, my God. Try a weekday if you thinking about going to the Intracoastal mall.
