Received a gift certificate many, many years ago. I had called numerous times to set up a flight, but the weather was never "looking good" enough. Eventually I put the gift certificates away and forgot about them. They unfortunately expired in 1995. Today, I found those gift certificates and called to see if they could honor them or if I could simply pay the difference as I'm sure the price has increased. A very rude woman answered the phone and lectured me that they should have been used back then. I could not believe how horribly I was spoken to. A simple "no, we apologize but we cannot honor it" would have sufficed. read more
