What a guy. I went to Naveed on a recommendation from an Uber driver who I asked if he knew anyone who can replace a Prius battery. I asked for a quote over the phone (really just to get an idea of how much I'll need for it to get fixed) he gave me a quote but told me that I should consider that it may not be the battery and that he wanted to look at it first to see if anything else may be wrong. It turned out it was just spark plugs and an ignition coil. He gave me a great quote, fixed it, and the next day I was on my way. Honest, straightforward, very knowledgeable in his trade, and well priced. Highly recommend. read more

I know what you are thinking, the pics don't inspire confidence. But I read the reviews and decided to give Naveed a shot. I have a 2010 MB ML that the AC died on. I did not want to spend a fortune that Mercedes Benz was asking. I went to Naveed. Super nice he agreed to diagnose without charging me. Found I needed new compressor, quoted half of the dealership price. He is a good man who really backs up what he says. Honest and hard working. Don't judge the book by the cover. Sky Auto rocks thanks to Naveed who has instilled my confidence that there are honest people in the auto repair industry in Fremont. read more

I brought my van for a check engine light on Saturday morning and Naveed pulled few codes and suggested an O2 oxygen sensor (upstream) replacement. He quoted me a price and I requested him to change the sensor same day. Due to his workload he requested to come Monday morning at 9AM and I confirmed and walked away. After clearing my work calendar for the morning, I brought my vehicle at 8:45AM and I reminded him about my visit of the O2 sensor replacement and shrugged me off stating I did not authorize him to place the order for the sensor and I will need to leave the van until late in the afternoon. I was disappointed and waisted my time taking my vehicle twice. Lesson learned, have Nabeel write everything down on a paper. It's a one man show shop and plan to wait for a long time with lots of patience. read more

Brought my 02' Toyota Highlander with over 220k miles on short notice to Naveed for general inspection/maintenance. Naveed quickly took my car for a test drive, from which he was able to immediately identify a couple issues. The team ended up not only replacing both my front and back gaskets, but also tuned my brakes and replaced a bad sparkplug they noticed while completing the gasket work. They offered VERY COMPETITIVE prices for all the work - a quote from the dealership would have ran me at least couple thousand dollars altogether and would made me consider buying a new car. Also, Naveed was FAST! He was able to finish the work and get my car back to me in less than 1 day! Overall great experience, zero BS/upcharging, and VERY competitive prices for top notch work. You won't be disappointed. read more

I'm so glad I decided to stop by Naveed's shop. For years I've been dealing with rip off mechanics who quote me ridiculous amounts for tuneups axle changes transmission flush's and whatever else life threw at me. This time it was my valve cover gasket. And I got quoted 300!plus at 8 different shops. Finally I decided to give it one more go and pulled in to 37503 Glenmoor dr. In Fremont. Naveed although busy with 4 other customers finished an invoice and promptly asked me what brought me in I told him I didn't know and he told me to pop the hood I did just that and 5 min later I was informed of 4different problems. Told me he was busy and to come back in 2 hours( so glad he didn't just have me wait there like most shops do) I came back he had already ordered my parts and threw in the oil change (recommendation) for the low price of 30 bucks oil and filter included. All in all I brought 7 of my friends and 2 family members to sky auto for their mechanical needs and nothing but good things to say and fully functioning cars all across the board. The guy removed and replaced an engine and transmission in 4 hours for my friend. AMAZING PRICE. Lined up the hood for my fiends f150 and popped a dent. Replaced an axel and coolant line for a 2016 bmw 3 series Replaced shocks and stunts for my friends Toyota Matrix also installed a roof rack Replace steering column and Power steering flush for another friends Pontiac gto Master and slave cylinders and brake line replacement brakes and rotors Very well versed mechanic. Amazing prices 5 stars easily. The only problem is he doesn't have a twin brother so you may have to wait some days because he dose get busy but give him a call and make an appointment you won't regret it. Good luck Safe travels read more

Excellent mechanic! I brought my prius here because the engine went bad. I had to get it replaced and I needed the car back as soon as possible because I earn my income with it. Not only did Naveed find me a new engine, he replaced it in less than 12 hours! I was shocked that he had done it in such a quick manner. I am really impressed with his services and the amount of time it took. I have now found a reliable and honest mechanic in Fremont. He does great work for a good price. I see a lot of reviews about the owner. The shop is under new management, from what I can see. His name is Naveed, and he is one of the most honest and accurate mechanics I have ever met. I would highly recommend him for anything from an oil change to even big jobs like tune ups. He is wonderful and does not try to upsell you. Naveed from sky auto is the way to go! read more

Recently I went to Sky Auto Repair after hearing a good feedback from my colleague. Initially I was little reluctant after looking at Yelp review. Naveed took care of oil change for my vehicle. I will highly recommend his services! read more

Changed out the Engine, waterpump, radiator and thermostat on my car for less than half of what other mechanics were asking. Really genuine person and very reasonable prices. Naveed is a great guy and a great mechanic, this shop is recently acquired by Naveed. Please disregard previous reviews as they were in reference to the previous owner! I took my 1987 Toyota Cressida to Naveed for a differential change and oil change at 11:15 am and by 2:00 pm he was done! He did a excellent job! Prior to that he replaced my power steering line hose On the same car, he completed the job in less than a hour! I will not be going to any other mechanic shop in Fremont ! ChiChi J read more

I took my car to Nissan dealer when my check engine light turned on. (Off course they dont touch the car without money). They told me it costs $200 to diagnose it and tell what the issue is. I paid and they told me that I need to replace transmission which costs $4500. One of my friend recommended Naveed for a second opinion. Naveed did diagnose of the car (for free) and told me that there is no issue with my transmission (he showed me the results) , but suggested to change the transmission fluid as it is on 80k mileage. I got the fluid the next day and he changed the fluid . He is excellent. read more

NEW OWNER! His Name is Naveed. Please disregard the older Negative comments as they were for the previous owner. Naveed does excellent work! I brought my 2002 Acura Rsx type s in and he fixed it up in no time! It had a lot of problems, from the catalytic converter to brakes and other misc things, and he replaced all the parts. It wouldn't pass smog due the engine light and he was able to detect the issue and fixed it. Now it passed smog and is running like new! I plan to bring any of my cars that need repair here! He does great work and gives good rates. Any type of auto repair you need! I recommend this mechanic to everyone!! read more

The owner of this shop is extremely rude and overcharge everything. I don't think his business will last long.

I agree with James who has reviewed this shop earlier. The shop owner is a cheat and is not a mechanic. I got a quote from 3 or 4 places because i needed a major job done on my Honda Civic. Chose this shop because of cheap quote - what a big mistake. He changed the drive belt and (supposedly) did an oil change and transmission oil change. As soon as i picked up the car in evening, i noticed a noise. But my home was close, so i did not pay attention. The next day morning, after driving about 10 miles, on the freeway there was a big noise and the car came to a halt on the freeway. Had to tow it and had to pay for rental car, because the car was in dealership repair for 2 days. This guy has ignorantly or intentionally ruined my car. The repairs at dealership cost me $1500 on an old car. ( Water pump broke, and drive belt came loose hurting many other parts that needed replacement). If i had done the same repairs at dealership, i would have only spent about $700 initially and saved all the troubles. I had no time to take this guy to a court and claim for losses. I was so pissed. Taught me a big lesson, even though i used to be home car repair hobbyist decades ago. You get what you pay for, and the risk of troubles, lost time and energy is not worth the 20% you may save by going to cheap shops like Sky Auto. This shop is a risk, for the mechanic does not seem to be experienced. An honest shop will decline work that they are not capable of doing. Usually, i am not this pissed about a shop to write a rant review like this; but yelp community needs to be aware of this fake mechanic. Now, even after 20 K miles, my car has a noise that started when i visited Sky auto. Dealership was unable to fix the noise. I suspect the low quality work introduced something into the transmission because even though i changed transmission oil twice, the noise would not go away. read more

The owner is a liar! He thinks he's a mechanic, but I caught him in three lies. Don't ever get a quote over the phone, cause once it's on paper it will be more. Always get everything on paper, and DONT sign it until everything you want done is on paper. And always get a copy too! This guy told me the trans pump seal and the pan seal are the same, so I believed him, Big mistake! I paid for the job, picked up my truck, it was not running the same, my door wouldn't shut, and I still had a leak. So I said to him, you told me the trans pump seal and the pan seal would be fixed, he said no you only paid for the pan seal to be fixed, I said you told me there both the same thing. He said no I never said that. I asked him about the trans pump seal three times, and I showed him a list of things I wanted fixed and he looked at it and said yeah All those things I did. Don't trust this guy! He told me I needed a catalitic converter twice. He was wrong both times! The first time it was the oxagen sensor, the second time I just needed a tune up. This guy is not a mechanic. If this is the same guy his shop is in manteca now. Stay far away from this shop! read more
