Many people had told us that a video was a great extra to have, but it was something that we would probably watch once or twice and then forget about it. I was about to take this advice and fore go this extra cost, until I discovered the magic of Stan Pe. After scrolling through his videos I realized that he wasn't simply a videographer, he was a cinema genius. Not since the Jesse & the Rippers' "Forever" by Fat Fish Records have I been touched by a short music video in my entire life. My husband met with them Stan and his wife Jeana once and we immediately booked them. After the initial booking we met with them twice to go over our plans and vision. Not only was the Stan Pe team as sweet as can be, but they were on their A game in returns of planning. They came bright and early on our wedding day and filmed us from the moment we got ready (I think they were there before we even fully woke up) to the end of the night when we were about to pass out from exhaustion. While other videographers are there for only a set hours, Stan's team was dedicated to getting every last detail shot. They were easy to work with and my photographer (who is not generally a fan of videographers...he said they tend to get in the way) raved about how professional they were. In fact, the extra lighting they brought helped him out at the end of the day! In a week, I had a finished video montage to share with my friends and family. In a month, a fifteen minute video. Other videographers had promised me the long version of the video in a SIX MONTH time frame. Ain't got time (and an attention span for that). Call me narcissistic, but I watched my video pretty much seven times a day for the first month. Thankfully I won the argument :) and we couldn't be more pleased with the final results! Joey arrived early and stayed late. He was extremely nice and professional. What was even cooler is that you don't even notice him filming! A couple months after the wedding a package of arrived with our DVDs (editing takes a while). We got a highlight video which is on Vimeo, and hours of raw footage. Spend money not only on a videographer but on Stevenson productions!! it will be well worth it. We received our edited 9 minute wedding video and are so happy with the outcome. A wedding day is a whirl-wind and you can't possibly take it all in, I am so thankful we booked Joey and Stevenson Productions. Watching the video a few months after the wedding really brought back some great memories of our special day and now we'll be able to share this with friends and family forever.
