I've been going to her for braizilians for years because of the reasonable cost and her thoroughness. I can't recommend her enough. I discovered her from Groupon for laser hair removal and glad I did. I don't like laser as my skin is super sensitive, but with a few more sessions left I didn't want it to go to waste. During the sessions, she is patient and will adjust the intensity accordingly, always checking to make sure the skin is okay even if I'm feeling it more personally. While we were chatting, she mentioned the Brazilian promo and ever since then, I haven't gone anywhere else. Her spa is small and clean. Going to a clean spa is so important to me. A cheap Brazilian is great, but not if I can contract something from someone else. Her weekday promos are quite reasonable and worth the feew extra dollars. I've only gone by appointment and highly recommend making an appointment if you can so you don't get turned away if she's with a client.

I had a few laser treatments and the sun spots are gone but now I have white spots where the sun spots were. One large very noticeable one on the side of my cheek. The pigment was removed by the laser maybe due to high temperature. I think the sun spots blended in more with my skin. A dermatologist said I have hypopigmentation and it may or may not go away. Time will tell. It's been 6 months and they are still there. If I get a tan on my face, the hypopigmentation does not tan.Hoping it will go away with time.

The room I was in, although a tiny bit cramped, was clean and smelled nice, and they play nice, relaxing music during the treatment. The technician explained every single step she was taking, so that I understood what was being done. I loved this part of the treatment, because so many places just proceed without saying anything. I've had a couple of facials, as well as the microdermabrasion treatments, and my skin was positively glowing after each session. I've suffered from rosacea for the past couple of years, with extreme redness, as well as blotchy and bumpy texture on one side of my face (cheek) and forehead. I've tried so many different treatments at other spas/salons, but nothing has compared to the results I've received at Redwood. In fact, after my last session, my skin looked so good that I thought the technician had applied foundation to my skin. I left there without makeup (for the first time in YEARS) and I even went grocery shopping with no makeup on. Trust me, this was a BIG deal to me. A friend from work commented on how nice my face looked, and I told her about Redwood. She promptly booked an appointment for herself and couldn't stop raving about how good her experience was. The next time I went in, I was told that I was eligible for their referral discount, which was a nice surprise. Gotta love the customer appreciation! I purchased a package of the same treatments and I'm really excited about the results I know I'll get from Redwood. I cannot recommend this place enough. The space itself is small, but very nicely appointed and comfortable. The small waiting area is cozy and there is bottled water and tea available, as well as some nice products to browse. The treatment space is simple and hygienic, and her threading technique is very good - my brows look great! Also, she noted my super sensitive skin and suggested natural products that I could buy at a health food store, rather than trying to sell me on any of the products that are available for sale at the spa, which I appreciated. I googled the natural products that she recommended (diluted rose water as a toner and pure argan oil as a moisturizer), and there appears to be good evidence for both with respect to my skincare needs. All in all, a very positive experience and no high pressure sales tactics. Treatment pricing is a little on the high side, but no different than what I would pay at my other spas, one of which is in the area. I do plan to return for threading, and am now using the natural products, as well.
