They completely changed my tattoo from what I showed them. I am very unhappy with the work they have done. Not to mention the customer service was terrible while I was getting the tattoo. I got a couple tattoos done by the owner Josi. She was very nice, and the first two I got were small and good so I went back. I had a friend that got a big peice done by her and it was amazing so I thought I would have her do mine. I got flowers all over my fore arm. She had a personal issue with her child, which was understandable, so I had to leave early. They had me come back the next week and I had to wait over 45 min after the appointment time they gave me. She knew what I had planned and the area I wanted filled, but didn't set aside enough time for the appointment so I had to reschedule another appointment. Now, a couple years later after getting tattooed by others, I know it's not a place I would recommend to anyone. She was extremely rushed both times, and the lines showed it. Very uneven parts, many lines didn't connect, and the shading she did in the flowers is so cloudy now, absolutely no dimension. A tattoo I had done 6 months after by a completely different artist knew her and her work and he was in complete disbelief that she was the artist that did my tattoo that he had to help me fix. Very very disappointed in the experience. It was clearly a tattoo she wasn't excited about doing and just wanted to get it over with. read more

I just had my 1st tattoo done by Jed today and it was the greatest experience next to my kids being born! He is very professional and explained everything as he went along! For anyone getting either their 1st tattoo like me or there 20th got have to go to him! He has 14 years experience and makes yahoo feel comfortable! I went in on my birthday to get my first tattoo from the artist "LunchBox". He was very abrasive and rude to me and made me feel as if I was wasting his time because I wanted to see how the outline would look in a different position. He rolled his eyes and then yelled at me when I accidentally brushed the outline. He also told my friend that if she couldn't stay put in the right place, she could just leave room. Very uncomfortable environment, would not recommend going there. read more

Do not go here. My roommate had a tattoo scheduled with $60 worth of deposits. They called 1 hour in advance to cancel her appointment two times. Now they won't give her her deposit back. Very disappointing. After the fact the tattoo artist called her back and called her a "f***** b***" for wanting her deposit back. read more

It's horrible!! I've been scrubbing my shoulder raw with hydrogen peroxide in hope to lighten this awful tattoo!! Im so embarrassed and stressed that this is on my body PLEASE if there's a skilled artist willing to cover this, please message me! I recently went to skin prints for a wolf tattoo... what I got looks more like a badger or a hyena They should NOT have set me up with this artist and The artist should not have said they could do the tattoo. It was supposed to be a delicate smoky looking moon with stars and wolf. I got a dark badger with random scratchy lines First tattoo session; the moon was just a dark circle with random scratchy lines, she put white in the stars which I didn't want, and then left "the wolf" just an outline. No shading, just a floating outlined head Its horrible!! I set up a consultation to fix this. I asked if we could do a 'colors of the wind' look (from pocahontas) but in grey's, not colors, to help with the floating head. She said yes, took pictures of the tattoo (same artist‍) and we set an appointment for 10 days later. 10 days later I show up for my appointment and ask to see her drawing.. SHE DIDN'T DRAW ONE!‍ I should have walked out there.. She proceeds to freehand tattoo my arm chest and shoulder. She even went into a different tattoo I already had I was fighting the urge to leave but decided to trust her. I wish I would have walked out! I told her she was getting too dark and she said, this is a quote "it'll fade lighter. Your skin is just really mad. " whaat I've never had an artist say that. Does she know what a tattoo is.. I think she started to realize she was fucking up and attempted to lighten it. She went in with white so hard that you could see the fatty tissue under my skin! And instead of the wind look I was hoping for, it looks like I got attacked by a cat! random scratch lines over half my chest. I have a black badger/ hyena head still floating there. She covered the tattoo as soon as she was done. Did not let me see it. I did not get to see it until I got home. I bawled my eyes out it's so terrible I have literally made myself physically sick for the past 5 days with stress on how this tattoo/MY BODY looks. Im very upset an artist said they could do a tattoo that they COULD NOT do and permanently put it on my body. I worked hard, put in so much overtime to treat myself to a beautiful tattoo... and Skin prints ruined my body. read more

Consistently impressed with the staff here - I had my septum pierced in January, and came back yesterday to purchase new jewelry and get some hand holding while I changed it. Fairly priced jewelry - excellent help from their head piercer and an apprentice. (I am embarrassed to say that I don't know their names.) I will continue to give them my money because they never made me feel stupid, unwelcome, or like an outsider. I appreciate the atmosphere and lack of judgement. I was assigned to set-up a tattoo day for, not only my daughter and I, but also for my sister and father who were coming in from Indiana for the weekend. I contacted Skin Prints because I saw that they had been in the area for awhile and had good reviews. We sent in photos of the tattoos that we were thinking about and had several changes along the way but they were very accommodating! They assigned Taki to us for the day and he did an absolute wonderful job on all of our tattoos!!! He mad us feel very welcome and went over our tattoos with us and wanted to make sure we were getting what we wanted. The entire time we were in his studio he talked with us and made us feel at ease! After, he took time to talk to us about care and wanted to make sure that we did not have any questions before leaving the studio!! We talked about our tattoos and about Taki all the way home. This was all 4 of our first time getting tattoos and we were all very impressed!!! We are already talking about getting maybe one or more tattoos and at least the 2 that our in town will be going back to Taki once we are ready!!! read more

I have had work done here in the past (and have been very happy with the results) when I was in Wisconsin visiting family and I went in today to have to have them put three rings on my right wrist. They declined to do it because it was too difficult, didn't want their name attached to it if it was botched, especially since "it's not something beautiful." Well it might not be something "beautiful" but it is a tattoo that would have a lot of personal significance. I appreciate their honesty, but I will be getting the tattoo somewhere that has more confidence in the ability of their artists. read more
