Ronit and Maranda began the procedure with a thorough consultation, where they explained each step of the process, putting my mind at ease. The carbon application was surprisingly relaxing, and as the laser gently glided over my skin, I could feel it working its magic, targeting imperfections and stimulating collagen production. Maranda's expert application and attention to detail was exceptional. She was also great at checking in on my comfort level all throughout. I was pampered and felt rejuvenated. I was most impressed with the immediate results of the peel. My skin was instantly brighter, smoother, and more even-toned. Those pesky blemishes and fine lines? Completely minimized. It was like hitting the reset button on my complexion! Days later, there's still a significant improvement in my skin's texture and overall radiance. I can't recommend this treatment enough to anyone looking to revive their skin and boost their confidence. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Before that, I had been using a different massage chain and switched only because my massage therapist at the time moved to Hand & Stone. As a hair stylist, I understand the service industry. I try to be very understanding of mishaps that happen occasionally with appointments. This one just really gets me though... I had an 80 minute massage scheduled this morning with a male therapist (mind you a booked it was couple weeks ago) and upon arrival I was informed that he did not do 80 minute massages and I would only be getting a 50 minute massage (5 minutes on both sides to get undressed and dressed)... ok, fine... I was annoyed, but could have gotten over it if the massage was good. Nope! It just sucked! Something was off from the start... couldn't put my finger on it, but just didn't feel right. As the massage progressed... it seemed like he finished an area before he even really started. It was the most lack luster massage I've ever gotten (and I've had a lot). Not to mention it was barely even 40 minutes. I will never again book an appointment with any massage therapist at that location other than Dercis. She is the only reason why I'll even continue going there. She is worth 5 stars, but as an overall; including todays joke of an appointment, I'm giving 3 stars.

Hand & Stone New City, NY BAD MANAGEMENT!!!!!!!!…read more BEWARE OF MEMBERSHIPS! I signed up for a membership at Hand & Stone in New City but canceled (TRYING TO) because I wasn't using it regularly. Occasionally, I gifted my sister (the max you can give away) three sessions when I couldn't use them myself. In mid-October, I tried to cancel. The receptionist told me she had no authority to process cancellations and that I needed to speak with a manager. I called back twice. During the second call, they informed me that my November payment had already been processed. They suggested I use one more session and cancel after that! So, I went in for another session and asked again to cancel. Eventually, I received a voicemail from the manager saying he wanted to "discuss" my cancellation. When I called back, the manager wasn't available, so I asked the receptionist to relay my request to cancel! Later, the manager called back, stating he needed to email me a PDF cancellation form to sign electronically. Here's the frustrating part: the manager said I'd still be responsible for another payment because I was canceling less than 30 days before the next billing cycle. When I expressed my frustration, he revealed that if I hadn't raised my voice, he might have waived the final payment due to my repeated cancellation attempts! Then he assured me that he would indeed wave this final payment :() He emailed the cancellation form, which stated that I'd still be charged a final payment even though he had said he would waive it. I trusted that he would do what he said and wave it! And to top it all off, another payment was deducted from my account today! December! I STILL WANT TO CANCEL! If you're considering signing up for a membership, be warned--the cancellation process is far from straightforward!
