It's at the quieter end of King St in Newtown so for me, accessibility and parking is a priority - TICK. 2. Feel of the place walking in - front of desk staff are super friendly and beyond helpful - TICK. 3. Tattooers are highly skilled and its clearly obvious with some of the work they have showcased around the place. 4. SUPER clean ... and by clean I mean, hospital grade clean - thats what you want to see!! 5. My guy (Jimmy) was hands down, an absolute pleasure to deal with (and what a smile) - whats even better? Turns out we had mutual friends - love it when connections like this occur. I will be recommending this studio to all I know who not only want a tattoo, but want a pleasant experience getting it done - I honestly cannot find a single negative thing to say about this place.

I have approached these guys with unusual requests and have never once felt like they were looking down their noses at me or judging me for wanting something weird (as I have in other places). This is pretty much the only place I will go to in Sydney now...Klaus has done 6 or 7 of my pieces, and he is very good at what he does, very open to discussing what works/what doesn't without being a douche about it, and super friendly. All their staff rank highly in professionalism, skill and friendliness...I have always felt really welcome there from the first time I set foot in the door which I think is important when a lot of other places can be intimidating. Their place is always clean too, which is nice to see. Oh, and they are really well-priced for how good their work is too! LDF4LIFE! :)

Sorry I'm not covered in tattoos, but that didn't mean she can be condescending, and roll her eyes at me. Also, sorry, but glad wrap is NOT dressing. Gauze is dressing. Would you go in for surgery and have glad wrap put on your stitches? No. So, when I say oh, I've just got glad wrap on it, there's really no need to roll your eyes. Anyhoo, mini rant. Maybe she was just having a bad day, and honestly if I were going to get any more tattoos, I'd go back there. I wouldn't trust any other shop to touch me.

That's until you hear the buzzing sound of the tattoo machine. Behind the counter, I found a couple of people being tattooed by the artists with one of the artists asking if I needed help. Browsing through each artist, they all had different styles, from Japanese to traditional sailor. It'll cost you about $170-$200 per hour, which is the standard price. Well worth it if you're wanting a large piece.

Came to their Haymarket location since it's closer, but both times have been great. No appointment was needed, I rocked up and presented my design and was asked to wait 10 minutes for the artist to finish up. Though that could be because I got a really small tattoo that took about 5 minutes to do. Staff was friendly, as was the artist. My biggest gripe was the cost...$100 + $10 GST for $110. My tattoo is really small, (seriously, it's 1.2 cm x 1.2 cm) but it's the minimum charge. If you have a small tattoo I suggest you go elsewhere for a cheaper price, but they do a good job here.
