Went to Skin last night to celebrate closing a business deal with my associate and had a great time. Tipped the girls (Persuasion and Laurel) approximately $500 during the COVID-19 pandemic. They're great! Not one issue the entire night. We had a great time. However, on my way home, I was pulled over by police for "crossing the bike lane". My 2021 vehicle with lane assist will not allow me to do this, and I did not do this. After dealing with the fake infraction I requested a supervisor be called to the scene. The officers then disclose that Skin called them and told them that I appeared intoxicated when I walked to my vehicle. They then detailed the drinks that were ordered on my tab. Long story short, I was cited for crossing the bike lane and told that I couldn't drive home after getting my attorney on the phone. We walked away and called an Uber. A win for the good guys and a loss for the hater at Skin. I'm pretty sure it was the Security Guard/Manager, Avi, that called. He must really like one of the girls and hate guys like me. Guys that work hard and celebrate by supporting the girls that have been out of work for the past several months during this horrible pandemic. If I was intoxicated, why didn't they stop serving our party and offer to call us a cab? Because they wanted to use their privilege to jam us up with the cops. I had a wonderful time here by myself. For background, I only visit strip clubs solo and on weekdays. Wednesday night, great woman to man ratio. So great, I was the only guy there for an hour. Music varied about a 1:2 rock to hip hop ratio. Lap dances were $30 a pop (I did not haggle). Drinks were above average in quality and normally priced. Normal (~20%) ATM fee and $2 bill shenanigans. Small club for better or worse. Too many dancers on phones for my taste but was pretty dead. Saw bouncers enforce no touching pretty consistently. No rude dancers or obnoxious groups of men. Lap dances varied in quality, but were fun no matter. Not enough Asian women. Suki was my overall favorite. Liliana was the best dancer. Daisy seemed new but had the most unique conversation. Upon walking in, my husband and I noticed how empty it was so figured we stay for 1 drink and 1 dance since we just paid cover. We tipped the only girl available on stage and asked for a dance, she said floor dances were $30 with no contact so I agreed and went with her. She then stated there's a mandatory $10 tip for each dance and when my husband politely declined again, the dancer then proceeds to grab my husband's wrist and demands a $10 tip, he tells her he didn't get a dance and that I didn't like my dance, she repeats that it's a "mandatory" tip and he asks if she could let go of his wrist, she refuses so I started to record the startling experience on my phone and she eventually lets go, I suggest to my husband that we leave and she jumps in and says "yeah get the f*** out of here, you and your ugly a** b****" (which I also have on recording) This has by far been my worst experience in a strip club..I'm not sure if the girl was on drugs or just desperate but trying to rip someone off for $10 when they just arrived is very distasteful. Not only did she not care about the customer (me) but the way she treated her employees was absolutely unacceptable....if you love yourself and all of the beautiful people on this planet you will visit the other three strips clubs within 1.5 miles. Management will charge you $1,500 for a 30 minute dance and didn't even consider offering a free drink or two. In Vegas, LA, SF, the prices are 70% less and I'm basing this on personal experience. I like how it is set up and sets the tone of Scottsdale luxury. I think Skins is way better than Bones and Dream palace for Scottsdale. My husband and i went in as a couple.
