Up until about three months ago I loved coming to this club. I would come here once a month and spend a couple hundred bucks each time. Half of the dancers had bad attitudes, but the other half (and the staff too) were pretty cool. Anyway, three months ago, I came into the club and sat down intending to watch the dancers on stage for an hour or two (like I always do--and I make sure to tip all of them even though I don't sit right at the stage) and then spend for a private dance after that. I'm sitting there minding my own business and after ten minutes some girl who reeked of cigarettes comes over to me and introduces herself as the manager. She immediately starts drilling me about buying a private dance. I politely explain that I'm here to watch the stage show for an hour or two and then will buy a dance after once I figure out what girl I'm interested in. She proceeds to start drilling me incessantly about giving her my credit card to "reserve a private dance". I explained to her that no I'm not comfortable with that and I will just buy a dance with cash when Imm ready. She proceeds to ask me to let her "hold onto however much money i want to spend on a dance" and "she'll reserve it and hook me up with a great deal". Again, I say no I'm jot comfortable with that. I will pay for my dance when I'm ready. She continued to hound and drill me about it and eventually gave up. Then, when the first dancer comes over to see me as im watching the stage show, she tells me the prices on dances have increased. She's telling me that a private dance costs $600 now. I politely explain that I didn't bring that much money and will have to decline because I don't want to spend $200 on a topless dance by the wall in freaking Maryvale, Arizona. Two other dancers approach me and each offer me a dance. I explain to each of them that I brought my usual $200 and was not aware that "prices have gone up". Each of them started talking to me implying that I'm a scrub and eventually just rolled their eyes at me and walked away. Finally, after two hours of me watching the stage show (and tipping the stage dancers) the first dancer comes back and says begrudgingly "fine, I'll hook you up but you gotta promise to come back and pay full price ($600) next time". I laughed and said "yeah okay sure". We go to the bar and speak to the manager who reeks of cigarettes and she continues asking me for my credit card. Eventually she stops being belligerent with me and I pay my $200 cash and the dancer and I go and do the private dance. So, that's my story, and now I'll get to the point. Truthfully, I am not comfortable coming back to this club anymore. In 2022 I spent a total of $2,400 on dances alone and Imm sure another thousand between tipping stage dancers, door fees, and refreshments. I intended to do the same in 2023. Meaning I was a $3,500 yearly client for this business. That doesn't make me a big baller, but it does make me a client (IN FREAKING MARYVALE) nevertheless. You don't have to roll out the red carpet for me, but seriously guys, trying to roll me for my credit card and calling me a scrub and (now) charging $400-$600 a dance (IN FREAKING MARYVALE)??? I waited three months to leave this review so that I made sure not to judge too quickly or harshly and...yeah...I have no interest in returning to this place. I really missed the good times I had in 2022 here and almost forced myself to go in two weeks ago, and I just can't bring myself to do it. Businesses sometimes hire the wrong manager accidentally and small things go wrong, but this is major stuff. Very disappointing and disturbing. read more
