In May of 2021 my husband's had to undergo a double lung transplant. It was a success!!!! Needless to say, after 4 years of being a caregiver, worrying attending tons of doctors appointments across the country, I was left feeling, depleted and looking MUCH older than I should. For my Birthday my husband asked me if I would want to get some Botox?!? I said, "YES!" I was a little optimistic at first thinking it wouldn't work, but after having just two procedures done I couldn't be happier!! Today Johanna Fangmeyer showed me my before and after pictures, I was speechless, I couldn't believe how "OLD" I had looked!! Johanna really did an excellent job!! Were you aware that Center for Dermatology is totally paperless? Well I didn't know this before,…read morebut now I do. I received a bill for $32 from a collection agency. I never received a paper bill from Center for Dermatology. I spoke with their billing department about the collections. Their procedure is to show the bill on your "portal". If no response they give you a call 24 hours prior to sending to collections. In my case my husband advised them to call my number because I take care of all medical bills. I did not receive a call or voicemail (like they said they left me). I went directly to my phones deleted voicemails and there are none from Center for Dermatology. In my opinion and for the courtesy of their clients, in the least they should SEND a notice through the mail prior to sending to collections. I'm all for paperless and totally understand that but NOT when they are getting ready to send a bill to collections. I always think about the older generation who does not understand portals etc. I want to add that I love Dawn Sharer. I've been a client of hers for more than 10 years and started with her at Frederick Dermatology. So i'm not complaining about the level of care but if a physicians office cares so little about their client base, that they would not take the time to send a bill before sending to collections, I no longer wish to be one of their clients. I am simply saying that their billing procedure needs to be revised.

For 1 hour facial it's $70, which is actually a great deal bc the products used are high quality, but most of all Mandy massages your face, neck, decolletage, arms, or shoulders the whole time while the mask is on (instead of walking away like a lot of high end spas I've been to). This time she used a collegen oatmeal mask ($30 add on but worth it) on me that was amazing. This town is so lucky to have her. So good for the skin. I try to get to the shop now whenever I'm in town. Since then the owner completed has her esthetician training and hopefully will be able to give facials etc in the shop - she has plans I think for two locations. Even before she completed her training she seemed to have excellent knowledge about skincare products and oils for different skin types and conditions. When I asked her about a certain skin condition she didn't try to sell me a product but acknowledged that it was very hard to treat and there was nothing "magic" out there to fix it. So I really trust her recommendations, besides just loving the oil she makes and sells. This IS a tiny shop, but make sure to stop by if it's open. I don't buy a lot of skin care products in general, and when I do they often sit unused till I throw them out, but not these ones. Also they smell great!

You are able to choose what service you want along with who you would like to work with. If you prefer a specific stylist/spa member you can also make appointments based on their availability. **Reserving an appointment requires putting your credit card on file. You will be charged if you do not show up to an appointment. ** After checking in with the friendly receptionist you can peruse the cute shop they have, which sells clothing and jewelry, or look at the high quality products they sell in-store. You will be taken to get your hair washed, which is the best part because you are given a scalp and hand massage. They also offer many beverages like tea, wine, lemonade, etc. I like Randall a lot and always choose her. She never fails to hype me up and make me feel like a queen *flips hair*. I got a semi-dramatic haircut: I started with a shoulder length bob with forehead bangs and wanted a short Mia Farrow pixie cut. Randall was of course very accommodating and was able to perfectly capture what I wanted. She asked me feel my hair to check the length and see if I wanted it shorter anywhere, which I really appreciated. She cared that I liked my haircut and wanted to make sure I felt and looked my best. You may be a bit intimidated when you first look at all the different services, but the website has great explanations. A lot of people think the prices are steep --but the quality of service and the way you feel walking out are both priceless.
