I met…read moreJacquie last year when we just purchased our retirement home that we planned to use part time between renting to snowbirds. She had a hand in designing almost every room with the furniture and window coverings as well as the details that really make the difference between a nicely decorated room to a stunning room! Jacquie took my stye and thoughts into consideration, but she also knew when to push a bit to consider decor we might not have chosen on your own - and of course she was right each time! From the beginning of our new house build, Jacquie joined us at the design center to make some significant decisions. One of them was the drop lighting in the café, which is a unique feature to our model which most people didn't choose it. Jacquie encouraged us to see the long-term value and the elegance it brought, and she was spot on. When we put the house on the rental market, 2 days later, it was rented for 13 months! I highly recommend Jacquie and her services.

Absolutely Exceptional Designer -- and an Even Better Human…read more I met Celia through Feathers Fine Furniture, and working with her has been one of the best decisions I've made for my home. Every single choice she's guided me through has turned out breathtakingly beautiful. She has an incredible eye for fabrics -- the pillows she designed and the chairs she reupholstered are truly out of this world. I get compliments on them constantly. Celia also helped me choose the colors and placement for my pendant lighting and gave me the brilliant idea to put a large mirror on a feature wall -- it looks fabulous and completely transformed the space. She advised me on artwork I discovered at the store, helping me understand how it would look in my home, and she thoughtfully guided placement of multiple pieces. She also picked out my coffee tables and a stunning rug -- pieces I absolutely love and likely would have overlooked without her vision. Her talent is undeniable. She notices things most people would miss, and everything she touches ends up feeling cohesive, elevated, and special. Beyond her design expertise, Celia is simply a wonderful person to her core. Kind, patient, genuine, and so easy to work with. I can't recommend her highly enough. Very frustrating experience. I would not use this contractor again…read more I signed a contract for a repair job for about $1,350. After the contract was already signed, the contractor returned with a subcontractor, looked at the house again, and then sent a new estimate for roughly $1,300 more, nearly doubling the original price. Because the price changed so much after the agreement, I decided not to move forward. No actual repair work was done on the house, but I was still charged $300 to cancel the contract after what was basically a short walkthrough visit. I understand that construction projects can uncover additional issues, but I did not expect the cost to increase that much after signing, and I definitely did not expect to be charged a cancellation fee when no work had been performed. In my opinion, the process felt very one-sided and not customer friendly. I recommend that anyone considering this company read the contract very carefully, especially the cancellation terms and how change orders are handled, before signing anything.
