I actually picked up a pair of Nike air for female fit because it was raved to be light weight and comfortable and it took impact load well. Just all around comfy walking shoes because I'm a regular runner and apparently the heel absorbed impact. I would say the shoes is enough of an up sale but it is light. There is no way shoes can absorb load that well, it's the foam structure and the hallow construct allows it. But true beliebers say it's a shock absorber, so keep on beliebing peeps. The selection is alright it's like any other outlet store. But it also shows you probably dont need to go to premium outlet mall for the deals, there are places with less line up and better parking.

The customer service was great, employees were helpful and cheerful, but not overbearing. Shoppers browse around the store, and the shoe sizes are stacked on the shelves, so there's no need to ask the employees to fetch you sizes or colours. The shoe selection is impressive. They had a huge variety of brands as well as shoe types. I consider this very convenient, since you have all the brands and shoe types in one place, as opposed to visiting ten different shoe stores in order to get a broad selection. I also consider it extremely cheap relative to buying these shoes new from other stores because Shoes 22 often has sales where you get really good deals (ex. Guess shoes which were normally $150 cost $120 at Shoes 22, and then were on sale for 50% off). I will mention, however, that although it does have a large selection, it doesn't have everything (for instance, I noticed they didn't have converse, nor was there a selection of specific kind of shoes like skate shoes, for example). Overall, I gave it 4/5 because it's very comfortable to shop at, has an enormous variety of shoe types and brand names, has quality shoes, and good prices.

He is a very avid runner and needed new shoes so we took him to Closeout Shoes believing that he would receive the same kind of quality service and customer care that we had come to expect. Unfortunately, he made a purchase that he came to regret when I urged him to wear the shoes around the house for a while. He was experiencing buyer's remorse. I assured him that any "reputable" shoe retailer would take back the shoes with a refund since they were not used outside the house. Apparently, I was wrong with regard to Closeout Shoes. You see they have signs in the store that say "ALL SALES FINAL" that neither of us noticed. When the purchase was made we were not given any VERBAL warning about their unusual store policy. In all my years of dealing with this retailer, I have never noticed these signs before. The owner refused to offer a refund of in spite my family's years of loyal patronage. My takeaway from this is that in her mind, enforcement of store policy is far more important than customer care. caveat emptor!
