How rare to find a place that prioritizes honest service over sales. I had a lot of questions; I also needed my daughters foot sized. I was very clear about not buying anything, not wanting to waste someone's time. Got very honest answers, and he obviously went out of his way and took extra time to ensure I understood the ins and outs and expectations I should have about the product and sport. Eventually decided to drive across the valley again on the same day to support a business that deserves it. I'll be driving across the valley forever, anytime I need something skate-related. This place is an invaluable resource, especially for people new to the sport(s). It's been about a month since then, and I still think back on that interaction occasionally, both with fondness and a kind of melancholy that it is so rare. Thank you. read more

I'm still a beginner skater and needed to upgrade from recreational skates to something more stable while practicing spins and jumps. Kyle was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to find me the right fit. You can tell he's extremely loved and respected in their community and cares about what he does. This shop was a longer drive for me but plan to just come here from now on due to his excellent service. Thanks for being so helpful today! read more

Kyle is the best! We've been going to his shop for 10 years. Today I stopped in last minute and he stopped what he was doing to fix my son's skate before a tournament, AT NO CHARGE. His shop is always well maintained and he always greets us with a smile. You'll also find a nice selection of hockey and figure skating equipment and if he doesn't have something you need he'll order it for you! Thank Kyle for all you do! read more

Adult beginner figure skater here. I had no idea what skates to buy, but I knew I didn't want throw-away skates. Kyle was awesome in getting me properly fitted. I'm so happy I went here and I look forward to going back when I'm ready for an upgrade. read more

Always professional. This is where many Jr VGK, Ice Warrior and other travel hockey people come to buy skates and get their skates sharpened. Highly recommend! Kyle is amazing. read more

Best in town, bar none. Kyle is the only person who I let touch my skates. He always goes above and beyond, not only for me, but every customer I've seen while I'm in his shop. His prices are MORE than fair, and he keeps quality items in stock. Very supportive of veterans and first responders. Definitely a small business worth supporting! read more

The owner, he always makes negative comments about the Ice Warrior family, such as 'Ice Warrior comes after' and 'We don't make any money from Ice Warrior.' He has made very rude comments to us, even though my son is an Ice Warrior player. He said, 'I'm not going to stop what I'm doing for Ice Warrior stuff; Ice Warrior comes second.' This is the third time he has said something like this. I am very disappointed with his service and shop. This is not the first time I have heard this comment from Kyle, I've heard him repeat this on 3 other occasions, which I've always just brushed it off but just don't need to hear it repeatedly, especially while I was in his shop looking to buy my son new skates. Mind you my son plays on ice warriors . So me understanding that ice warriors come second to me is offensive when I'm trying to buy skates from his shop. So be it he is the owner and has the right to run his business but I won't be a customer any longer. Thank you for your response, Kyle. I appreciate your input, but I feel that I understood the situation clearly. The repeated comments you made about Ice Warrior were offensive to me and IW family, especially as a parent of a player I hope the business considers improvements in this area for future customers And over the phone you told me "vote to Kamala Harris?!" What supposed mean by that" read more

My oldest son skated with Ice Warriors for years. I just wanted to come on here and say thank you to Kyle for helping my kids with their skates and hockey gear. Made us feel very welcome and even gave my oldest tips for the ice. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about this shop and the owner, Kyle. We came in looking for skates for our son (7) who wanted to try out ice skating. Kyle was patient, honest, and forthcoming about what would be best for our son. He didn't try to upsell us, and seemed truly interested in helping us out. We didn't spend very much, yet Kyle still spent about an hour getting our son set up with his new skates, and associated items. When it came time to talk about a helmet, Kyle didn't have the best one for our son in stock at the time (Covid inventory issues still abound). He didn't try to sell us on something he had; instead, and although he would lose a sale, he told us what helmet would be best for our son, and encouraged us to buy it online. That's the difference between good and great service. Good service would have been accommodating us and selling us the best option available at the time. We probably would never have known better. But Kyle provided great service by telling us about the best possible solution, even though he couldn't provide it himself. The jury's still out on whether our son will want to sick with skating, but if he does, we won't be shopping anywhere else for his equipment. read more

Kyle has been nothing but professional and so accommodating with my kids and their skating needs! If he doesn't have the equipment you need, he will make sure to get it for you! He is knowledgeable and has actually played hockey. His prices are reasonable and have really helped our family out. Dom will only have Kyle take care of his sharpening and equipment needs. Thank you Kyle!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!! read more

Kyle absolutely knows his way around a skate. He put me back on the ice playing hockey and was able to guide me through getting a whole new kit after being off ice for so long. I refuse to go anywhere other than Kyle for my hockey and skate needs. Best prices in town too! read more

Kyle is truly exceptional and a master when it comes to skate sharpening! He also supports his community by offering Ice Warrior gear at no profit to himself. His store features a broad selection of items, and he's always willing to order anything you need if it's available. Go to Kyle for all your figure skating, or hockey needs he's the best! read more

Just moved back to Vegas after living in Oregon for two years and desperately needed a skate sharpening, luckily Kyle was just the right person in town! He helped me with two skate sharpenings and a mounting. He's expanding his shop to accommodate more figure skaters along with hockey! So excited to see it come into fruition. I'm also so glad I don't need to drive to California for a skate professional and there's one right here in the desert! read more

HANDS DOWN THE BEST SHOP IN VEGAS! Your skates will be the most balanced thing in your life. Your edges will edge better than anything else in this world :p And Kyle, the owner, well he is just one of the most intelligent people in town when it comes to hockey, knowing what equipment is best for you, and his heart is made of the glitter you see on the Golden Knights jerseys. Seriously, his passion for the sport is amazing and he takes that same passion in making sure you get exactly what is best for you, taking care of you, even if that means he loses a sale and has to tell you to buy something somewhere else because he doesn't carry that brand. I've sent multiple people to him to get kitted out and I will continue to do so until the day I die. Don't make the mistake of going anywhere else. read more

Great little shop! By far, our favorite in LV thanks to Kyle! He went above and beyond while sizing my son for every single piece of hockey gear possible. They also have a decent selection of used gear. We were only planning on buying a piece or two at first, however we came back the next day and bought everything else including the bag! We bought a couple pieces of used gear that looked brand new as well. Thank you Kyle for your patience and kindness. All of your help was greatly appreciated. read more

Best shop in Vegas. Don't go anywhere else. Not just for hockey gear but for building great relationships. Kyle is the man. I drive from Southern Highlands and skip several shops on the way just to come here. read more

I've tried every skate shop around to get skates for myself and granddaughter. Kyle has been the only person who really knew his stuff. He took so much time talking with us and getting my granddaughter sized correctly. He baked her skates, put in a new insole and sharpened them perfectly. We ordered a new pair of skates from him which he will bake for her also. I can't express how amazing he was from talking on the phone to working with us in person. Kyle is a true professional, patient, knowledge & very friendly. We will only go to his shop from now on. It's worth the drive to get there. read more

Best skate sharpening in Vegas!!! Kyle always does a fantastic work with my husband my son my daughter's hockey skates (and my daughter's figure skates). Highly recommend!!! read more

This is the only proshop with consignment which is what brought me in. The shop is clean and the inventory is limited. The reason to come here is Kyle. I am new to this sport, kyle answered all my questions. I do mean ALL my questions. He sized me for gear and helped me out with everything. Kyle is kind and very knowledgeable. I found so many come in to have him sharpen and fit skates. I was very impressed. He is always willing to help someone out. I will be visiting again for my ice hockey needs. read more

Had a bad experience at the SoBe shop and decided to get my skates done at the Firsta proshop, problem is they're always closed!!!

I've been going to the Fiesta Pro Shop for years. Rob and Kyle are the only ones in Vegas that I truly trust with my skates. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll get it for you. Great customer service. Can't say enough good things about this small business. read more

Kyle makes himself available and also goes out of his way to take care of all the players at Sobe. I know Of numerous occasions when he made a special point of being open when players were in need. Not the biggest or loaded with inventory but Kyle can get whatever we need. Thx Keep it up read more

I have been to all the pro shops here in town and I love the staff at the Sobe arena pro shop. They are helpful, knowledgeable and they are super friendly. They have great new and used gear for sale and will help you get the gear you're looking for. I completely disagree with Nicholas G's review of this Pro shop and frankly wonder about his mental capacity as I read his review. His review is based off lies and down right bad advice and reviews of this place. This pro shop is hands down the best in town. Hope this helps you when selecting your pro shop. read more

Kyle was awesome sizing me with new shinguards. Very knowledgeable and I feel like a got a great deal on quality gear. Solid shop.

I have been dealing with Kyle at the Pro Shop shop for a many years. He's knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful in getting equipment that is best suited for me. You couldn't ask for better customer service, and if he's doesn't currently stock what you want, he'll order it for you. The Fiesta Hockey Pro Shop is awesome, definitely 5 stars! read more
