The owner, he always makes negative comments about the Ice Warrior family, such as 'Ice Warrior comes after' and 'We don't make any money from Ice Warrior.' He has made very rude comments to us, even though my son is an Ice Warrior player. He said, 'I'm not going to stop what I'm doing for Ice Warrior stuff; Ice Warrior comes second.' This is the third time he has said something like this. I am very disappointed with his service and shop. This is not the first time I have heard this comment from Kyle, I've heard him repeat this on 3 other occasions, which I've always just brushed it off but just don't need to hear it repeatedly, especially while I was in his shop looking to buy my son new skates. Mind you my son plays on ice warriors . So me understanding that ice warriors come second to me is offensive when I'm trying to buy skates from his shop. So be it he is the owner and has the right to run his business but I won't be a customer any longer. Thank you for your response, Kyle. I cannot say enough positive things about this shop and the owner, Kyle. We came in looking for skates for our son (7) who wanted to try out ice skating. Kyle was patient, honest, and forthcoming about what would be best for our son. He didn't try to upsell us, and seemed truly interested in helping us out. We didn't spend very much, yet Kyle still spent about an hour getting our son set up with his new skates, and associated items. When it came time to talk about a helmet, Kyle didn't have the best one for our son in stock at the time (Covid inventory issues still abound). He didn't try to sell us on something he had; instead, and although he would lose a sale, he told us what helmet would be best for our son, and encouraged us to buy it online. That's the difference between good and great service. Good service would have been accommodating us and selling us the best option available at the time. We probably would never have known better. But Kyle provided great service by telling us about the best possible solution, even though he couldn't provide it himself. The jury's still out on whether our son will want to sick with skating, but if he does, we won't be shopping anywhere else for his equipment. read more

I've tried every skate shop around to get skates for myself and granddaughter. Kyle has been the only person who really knew his stuff. He took so much time talking with us and getting my granddaughter sized correctly. He baked her skates, put in a new insole and sharpened them perfectly. We ordered a new pair of skates from him which he will bake for her also. I can't express how amazing he was from talking on the phone to working with us in person. I have been to all the pro shops here in town and I love the staff at the Sobe arena pro shop. They are helpful, knowledgeable and they are super friendly. They have great new and used gear for sale and will help you get the gear you're looking for. I completely disagree with Nicholas G's review of this Pro shop and frankly wonder about his mental capacity as I read his review. They have grate hockey equipment. new and used gear for sale and you can bring in you used gear to sell. They have figure skates for sell to. It is small but they have A lot of good stuff for sale. The two people that work in the shop are very nice they will help you with whatever you need help with. read more
