I will put aside the fact that I am not an Arsenal fan while I write this. The store has just about anything you could want in regards to Arsenal merchandise. For the die hard fans, there is enough here to deck out your house and really show your love for your team. For me, a lot of the stuff is a bit gimmicky, and I could not justify spending money on things like that. But the term 'fanatical supporter' is a good way to describe some fans, and I guess money isn't an issue when you are supporting your team.

I found a pair of Adidas trainers in this shop for under 20.00. I was suitably impressed. This store is medium sized and carries mostly trainers and sports wear. The staff is extremely helpful and went on a wild goose chase to try to find the matching Adidas trainer for me (the sister to the one on display). I was pleasantly surprised by this store and the value they had on offer. Watch for the sale pieces. It can be as good a bargain as Sports World.

City Leathers makes leather handbags, shoulder bags and jackets. There's a man at the back altering the hides in his work room. I saw leather handbags here (Italian Leather) for 19.00, which is not bad. A shoulder briefcase will cost you about 70 pounds. There is a good selection of leather coats for men and women and one can be yours for a little over 100 pounds. Leather is hot. I'm still grappling with the issue.

What a great experience I've just had this morning in Sweatshop Holloway Road. I was served by the…read moremanager I think and she was so accomodating to my needs. I'm a particuarly picky, bargain hunting shopper and at times I think must have been infuriating to serve. But the lady took it in her stride and was even prepared to look at other shops' websites to compare prices and stock! After looking at my gait and my barefeet she helped me find some trail shoes, gave me excellent advice on what to look for and was good at letting me know what wasn't good for me and what was rather than all pairs of running shoes being great for my running style and gait. I think the the 30 day return policy is an excellent incentive and because the sale was so good I also bought a new sports bra, which she also fitted me for. Additionally the amount of different brands sweatshop has in running shoes goes in their favour since I never got the impression (as I had done with other running stores) that they were pushing a certain brand on me and making it fit my needs. Even though I have subsequently found my new trainers for £10 less on another website (bargain hunter to the last!), the customer service was worth every penny. Great local shop with all the required brands of fitness equipment. They stock great selection of…read moresports shoes and do a professional fitting. Highly recommend these guys for sporting goods. Also often have promotions that mean you're not paying dull price - fantastic!!!
