I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon because they were holding a raffle for a pair of hard-to-find sneakers. While in the parking lot the guy working inside was actually walking to his car and greeted me. It was only when he came back in that I realized he worked at Skate Supply, but he was super-nice nonetheless.
He asked me if I was there for the raffle (he obviously made an educated guess since I've never been there before) and he took my contact info. He asked if I was interested in buying a t-shirt they were selling to promote the shoe's release and, because he was so cool about it, I said, "Yes," and pre-ordered. I think I got a second raffle entry by buying the shirt, but it looked cool, was a reasonable price and I'd be supporting a local shop.
We also talked about the shoe in question (Travis Scott x Nike SB Dunk Low "Cactus Jack") and joked a bit about its release policy.
