The stylist really understood what I was after, even though she made one too many references to 'whoever did your hair last time,' before rolling her eyes. However, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist who led me upstairs. It is such a contrast from the pokey minimalist front room with whitewashed walls. I walked into what felt like a Parisian boudoir, lots of ambiance, chandeliers and luxury. You knew you were in for a treat. I had a head and shoulder massage while my girlfriend had a facial. My girlfriend said that the facial left her refreshed and revitalised. My massage was amazing, I left feeling relaxed and energised and my masseuse put me at my ease but did not try and talk or make inane chit chat, I could just lie there and unwind.
