Holly was verbally aggressive, yelling, and posturing after being told that she wasn't listening to…read moremy concerns. Tracy had to step in to address my issue due to Holly's behavior. I went to this nail salon for the first time on 3/14 for a manicure w/ acrylic powder and pedicure. Service was great! On 3/20 the dip came off one nail and was rising on 3 other nails. I called the shop and was told to come in to get them fixed. I get there and explain the situation. Holly is insisting that I find the exact color to fix my nails. I can't find it so she finds one that is similar. I told her that I didn't want "mix match" nails and suggested changing the color. Holly then says that I can get a $5 discount if I change the color. I told her that I would not be paying because it has been less than 7 days since I got my nails done. She fixes the one nail and I asked her about the other three. Holly becomes visibly upset after I stated that she wasn't listening to me when I explained the issue. She then gets loud, stands up, and raises her voice. Keep in mind, other customers were receiving services. I addressed her and stated that she would not speak to me in that manner and to lower her voice. She continues and then Tracy intervenes to take me to her station. While sitting there I ask for Holly's name because I didn't know it at the time. Holly is sitting behind me and yells "you gone write about me on Facebook" and storms to the back after being told that she will respect me. I did not yell, curse, or call her out of her name during this back and forth. I asked for a manager and was told that I had to speak with Holly. I then asked to speak with the owner and was told that no one could call them. Needless to say I will not be returning to this establishment

As for the value, I paid basic pedicure price for a deluxe pedicure - stones, wax, extended massage, etc. The negatives were the regular polish selection. I think they had more gel polish options, but the regular polish is severely lacking. I was going in for a neon blue for my last summer pedi of the season, but there were no neons on the wall.

The pedicure chairs are amazing, it worked the kinks in my shoulders out. Now my negative. I don't think technicians should be having loud conversations with customers on politics. To join in as a customer is expressing her dislike for America and how she's from Jamaica and they aren't like Americans. I felt like this was extremely offensive and inappropriate. I was so uncomfortable. I tried to drown out her cackling with my beats but I could still hear her mouth over the podcast. From MY experience. I'm not given the royal treatment like my family. Sometimes the options can be overwhelming and takes me a while to decide. I don't like feeling rushed or pushed for something that I may not want. Then I feel nervous asking for anything, change my choice, an explanation of what kind of special I selected and what the difference is. The technicians can be easily irritated and that's not a welcoming nor a returning experience I want. I'm already stressing about paying and just want to make sure I like the choices since they're long term nails. I've paid for a treatment and received the bare minimum. No massages, no special scrubs or hot towels... when I asked they said I paid for the basic.... When it's the same thing I get when my family comes.. additional add ons can be charged if you want a shape or style, kind of bizarre. They pick and choose the timeframe they want. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't like the bottom of my nails to be full of gunk nor the sides of my nails digging in.
