It's well-preserved since doors (and legs) closed in the late 80s.

The lady who gave the tour was absolutely great. Very knowledgeable about the history and she presented the story well. The subject matter is adult, so this is appropriate for 16+. The tours are every hour, and if you find yourself in Wallace (as you should), this is very much worth your time.

This is gallery that promotes much of the artistic community belonging to the St. Maries Council of the Arts. SETUP The gallery has a Friday Open House, various art receptions, as well as provides a forum for some calendared musical performances. THE ART But of course it excels at what it was established for: the exhibition of local artists to share their works. Such artists have included Rebecca York, Nancy Landt, Cheryl Halverson, Carol Warner, and others, just to name a few. After having an opportunity to encounter Brian and Matt, the head honchos, I was able to grasp the future vision for the resort, and I am thrilled! Not only are they upholding historic tradition of the mountain, but plans for upgrading and expanding just confirm the attitude of slow and methodical progress. And all the ugly things I stated last season, have virtually disappeared. Way to go boys! To track from November 8th all the way to last weekend was epic! Unlike first chair Cheryl, who is unrivaled, it was the longest season I have experienced at one resort. And just enough powder and chill to keep us going all that time!
