Then they claimed we had damaged the car. Out of the blue. We bought their insurance which they told us covered everything. You get no copy. Their contract is in French so who knows what we agreed to. Then they are charging us for a scratch on a rim which the initial paperwork says was already on the car. We did not damage the car. After a month of fighting and calling their bluff, they backed down. I had a bad feeling when we went there. And boy, it never ends. They are sneaky cheaters. You have been warned.

Apparently, the agent forgot to tell me that "all loss and damage" meant everything except windows and tires. He also forgot to tell me that I could cover windows and tires for another 10 euros per day - which obviously I would have done. Now they've threatened to sue me if I don't pay 500 euros for a new windshield. Even though it only sustained a small chip that could be repaired with polymer fill. I can't fly to France and defend myself, and I am not willing to let them rack up legal fees suing me there, then domesticating the judgment in the US. So I have to pay, but I'll be posting this review everywhere I can to help others avoid Sixt - do NOT rent from them. You will regret it.

We picked up a car from this location in September. The staff spoke English perfectly. They were…read morevery knowledgeable regarding the location we were visiting, Champagne and Epernay. We had some trouble with our accommodations and they were nice enough to call and correct the problem by speaking in French to resolve our issue. We left feeling like we hit the jackpot on car rental locations. The actual business is located in a quiet garage, the cab ride was about 14 Euros from our hotel in St. Germain, Paris and took about fifteen minutes to reach. I'm tempted to send the staff a gift because they over exceeded our expectations but I lost my contacts and I don't have the names of the two associates that helped us out specifically.
