I could clearly feel the vibration and movement of different sound frequencies throughout my body, creating a noticeable sense of release. (FYI, I do meditation regularly.) Almost forgot that I left a review for a private group session in my home in 2020... Time flies. This time the review is for the public group session. This is my third time joining the group meditation in Saratoga that happens every Sunday 5pm. I used to book Sabrina's private individual sessions and small private group session at my house. Every time feels so different and that's the fun part. Sometimes I feel a certain chakras vibrate with certain singing bowls. Sometimes I feel it's so short but found out I missed a big chunk of the performance. Sabrina always reminds us to set our intention before the session and if there's any noise we can make it to help us going deeper. Yesterday, as a tired mom with a puppy, I set my intention to fully rest and heal. During the session, I first felt my energy running around my upper body, then flowing into my entire body. With ocean drum, I fell into deep meditative state for a while, until I was awaken by my own snoring... Very relaxing and recharging for me. With all these years of being her client and good friend, I noticed that her skills improved and she always aims for providing her clients good experiences and set intention according to their needs. With no prior experience in Sound Bath, I joined Sabrina's weekly South Bath group in Saratoga, and I gotta say it was a pleasant experience! The venue was easy to find with ample parking, plenty of space to set up the yoga mat to get myself comfy, and a clean and roomy bathroom. Sabrina burnt sage to begin the session. I had imagined that I would be immersing in the sounds, instead I fell asleep in less than a minute and had a restorative sleep for the whole session. I didn't wake up until 2-3 minutes before the hour. This experience showed me how soothing South Bath was that I relaxed myself so much to the point of napping! It was an amazing and a truly healing experience for me. I'm glad I came and would recommend anyone to try it. It's a great Sunday ritual to wind off and get ready for Monday. This was our first Sound Bath and my husband and I arrived early to the session. We were the first to arrive and Sabrina was so nice and welcomed us. I was very resistant to the idea of self-healing because I refuse to admit that I was the problem and the fact that I was sick and wounded. Sabrina did a brief introduction and advise if I feel physical pain or tingling means the body is reacting, don't be nervous, just try to relax and let the body do the work. I have been suffering frozen shoulder (left) for a few months so when I lay down, I have a particular position for not to trigger the pain. About 10 minutes into the session, my experience lots of pain on my left arm and shoulder, even changing the position doesn't help. I decided to bear with the pain, take a few deep breaths....the next thing I know, the session is over, I actually fell asleep. My left shoulder pain is less, limitation of movement increase. Not only that, I felt tingling all over my face/head which is something I never experienced before. To be honest, it's kind of weird and strange but in a good way.
