In fact, he overbilled, so he owes the insurance. They claimed it was my responsibility to get the proof that my insurance paid. As a physician myself, that is not how it works. Their billing company needs to contact Carefirst, not me. 5) He missed a diagnosis of skin cancer in a patient that I referred to him. Be very careful with this physician. I will never send him anyone again nor will we go to his office. I am extremely disappointed because this practice (not him) came highly recommended.
