The lot is under going an upgrade leaving the original leasing office temporary closed. They are left of the original leasing office in a 2 bedroom apartment. They have signs displaying which direction to go. If you are unable to go up a short staircase make sure you prepare or call ahead. When I entered the office it was well lit and clean. The staff was occupied but greeted my husband and myself. I wasn't sure if we could walk around and look at the 2 bedroom but I decided to take a look. The appliances were new. I could tell the floor had been remodeled recently, it looked brand new. I was greeted by a staff member and we were able to go over details. This led to a walk through. I viewed their 2 bedroom with a loft. It was beautifully designed. I love the fancy spiral staircase! It was a little scary going down the staircase but I know that is something anyone could easily get used to. The rooms had high ceilings which really opened up the place. The apartment looked spacious and the price for move in was great. The staff made the visit that much more pleasant. They were informative and both had great personalities. If looking for a place I would check availability. Also convenient for military looking for a place off base close to work.

At move-in, I noted that the door seals needed replacement. It took three separate maintenance requests to get only three of the four seals replaced. Two light fixtures also needed replacement upon move-in, and the apartment was not properly cleaned before I took possession. I received notice that my covered parking space would be unavailable for several days. When I requested a prorated refund for the parking fee I pay, I was denied both in person and via text message. Later, when I raised the issue again, management stated that no one had said prorating was not possible, despite the earlier communication. I was then told they would determine which days I was actually unable to park there, even though I had already been instructed not to use the space during specific dates. The pool was closed on September 8, 2026, without any prior notice. Finally, residents should be aware that these units do not have dryer vents. As a result, tenants must either purchase a ventless dryer or deal with excess heat and lint inside the apartment. Overall, communication has been inconsistent, maintenance issues have been slow to resolve, and management has not met reasonable expectations for responsiveness and transparency

However, we found Fox Creek to be great. The management was responsive to our maintenance requests and friendly. The appliances were of a good quality, not the best, but worked. Here was what we liked: The price was good compared to other apartments, management was responsive and knowledgeable, and they allowed pets. Here is what we didn't like: Road construction on Hillfield Road at the time (not their fault though) made it hard to get in and out at times, dryer was sometimes slow to dry clothes, and the pool had a weird shape like a capital A that was a little awkward. We liked them enough that if we had to move back into an apartment we would move back here.

My Husband and I lived here for four years starting in January…read more2018 in building I the management was awesome attentive and helpful, any issue that came up was dealt with swiftly. in 2019 we moved to the other side of the complex into building J. It was nothing short of a F****** disaster from the get go, we moved in and found cat litter in bedded into the carpets the carpets were not cleaned like they claimed they did every time somebody moved out. Our cable never worked we paid for multiple things we never utilized we went without washers and dryers for weeks on end they'd come fix it and it wouldn't be fixed and wed have to wait more weeks and constantly pester for help, which resulted in nothing but disrespect and aggression from their maintenance clown. Our AC broke in August and it took two weeks to fix the issue and the cooler they used let off more heat than cold air so they moved it to the back door while we were at work and left our back door open all day with nobody home. Another instance our toilet in the main bathroom would constantly leak and we said multiple times how it needed to be replaced and the guys argued with us over and over again until one morning we woke up walking on water literally, our whole downstairs was flooded with toilet water, we called the emergency number and got no response (not surprised) so had to clean up and run out for supplies. when i called in the morning i was told they would get there when they could so I waited all day in a apartment that smelt like mildew, for them to say no one could come out until the following afternoon to clean and sanitize the place so they pulled the carpet up a little and put fans there which just made the smell worse. the next day i went to work and came home the bathroom had flooded again and they had used decorative brand new towels and my clothes from the laundry room which were in the washer!!!!! The point is unless you want to be treated with contempt never be be heard pay out the ass don't go here!!! save yourself the hassle and time. a month before moving out our 3 month old puppy was attacked while my husband held her by an aggressive Pitbull the complex couldn't care less. then six months after leaving they claim we never paid a security deposit and they cant find it when i have the paperwork. ABSLOUTE CROOKS!! they pay people do false reviews for incentives don't be fooled and don't waste your time paying to live here. They do nothing to update apartments or appliances and at this point they need it. they should fire the fake maintenance men and find someone actually capable of performing simple handy man tasks. you pay for pool and gym amenities the pool is closed 60% of summer because they cant balance it and they cant keep it clean and don't enforce even basic rules. You will order food and grocery's have them stolen off your porch. NO RULES are enforced you just have to shut up and follow theirs. Best of luck to anyone who chooses to live here. they are the most unorganized sneaky rude complex i have ever dealt with. Don't ever expect the office to be open and if they are don't expect help. there was no parking and i called the office to let them know a previous resident had just abandoned their vehicle i spoke with Aleesha multiple times and the car was still there 3 months and wouldn't be surprised if its still there. I would have to park across the car park and walk in the dark with lights that didn't work because no one can be asked to do their job!!! I don't believe in bashing online and leaving bad reviews but after dealing with this company and this complex for close to five years id hate for anyone else to deal with issues we did.

Moving into Goldstone Place Apartments in Clearfield, UT has been an absolute circus. I've never…read moreseen a property so unprepared, so careless, and so blatantly dismissive of the people who actually live here. Let's start with the basics: Move-in Condition: Disgusting. My unit looked like nobody bothered to clean it. Dust, grime, dirt -- things you shouldn't have to deal with when you're paying real money for a "ready" apartment. First impressions were already bad, and it only went downhill. Electrical Concerns: Unsafe and Ignored. There were electrical issues immediately. Not small ones -- the kind that make you stop and think, "Should this place even be occupied?" But when you bring it up, management acts like you're being dramatic instead of dealing with a potential hazard. Washer: A Biohazard Waiting to Happen. Every wash cycle releases clumps of disgusting gunk. Literal chunks of god-knows-what floating around like it's normal. The smell? Enough to make you question your life choices. I've cleaned it every way possible, and it still acts like a backed-up sewer with a spin cycle. Pests: Not Just My Problem. Neighbors are dealing with cockroaches. Management's response? Basically a shoulder shrug. No urgency. No real effort. Just the expectation that everyone should shut up and cope. Management: Doesn't Care Unless Rent Is Due. Tenants here are treated like walking dollar signs. Complaints vanish into thin air. Requests get brushed off. They'll respond quickly ONLY when they want something from you -- never when you need something fixed. Here's where the legal side kicks in. Utah isn't a lawless wasteland. Landlords are legally required to maintain housing that's safe and sanitary. The Utah Fit Premises Act (Utah Code § 57-22) spells it out clearly: A landlord may NOT rent a unit unless it is: * Safe * Sanitary * Fit for human habitation Electrical hazards? Unsanitary appliances? Pest issues in the building? Filthy move-in conditions? These are not "minor inconveniences." These are exactly the kinds of issues the law was written for. Under Utah Code § 57-22-6, if a tenant gives written notice about a serious problem and the landlord doesn't fix it in the required time window (often 3 days for health/safety issues), the tenant may be allowed to: * Reduce rent * Repair the issue and deduct the cost * Report the property * Potentially walk away from the lease if it's bad enough Again -- you have to document things and follow the steps, but the law is pretty clear about habitability. And right now, based on what I've experienced, this place is skating on the edge of those very standards. Final Thoughts This complex thrives on the assumption that tenants won't push back. That people will be too tired, too busy, or too stressed to fight them on things that should've been fixed before anyone moved in. If you're thinking about living here: Don't. If you already live here: Document everything and learn your rights -- you're probably going to need them. This place needs a wake-up call, and judging by how they operate, it's long overdue.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! First off these apartments are outdated have very minimal amenities…read morethat are not of anything worth living here for, management does not care about the residents and do not care to help for anything. The parking is always full because there are atleast 3 cars per apartment and atleast half of the vehicles never move and the tow company or apartment won't do anything due to it being open spots for anyone. The maintenance guys are really nice but are told to not do anything till it fails/breaks I have had them come atleast 8 times since I lived here which I started my lease October of 2021 for things from the fart fan not really working to the windows are all outdated and barely move, to plumbing issues with the drains and the swamp cooler issues...yes they have only SWAMP COOLERS HERE how outdated/ poor style apartments can they be with no ac/heat the swamp coolers are on the roof so during the summer the water gets too hot since the sun is baking it so it blows like warm to light cool air and will get you down 2-7 degrees and that's it, the heat is radiating floors which either areas don't work or are too hot and I asked mine to be shut off due to the shitty ass heat they consider great and because the whole apartment building cycles as one to the boiler you will still have hot floors so that's just so nice on this crappy system. Lets talk about the utilities I have a wife and a 4 year old daughter and we pay almost average 200-290$ for water, sewer, trash, electricity, gas, service fee, CAM FEE monthly which is us paying for the maintenance to work on the outside clean and maintenance and it's always 30-50$ for the CAM CHARGE and the whole utility bill is a rounded up total between you and every resident that is a certain percentage of the people well they just consider 3 people not 2 adults 1 kid and my family actually works unlike a lot of the people that either live off the state or are stay at home workers so we're only home in the evenings 7 days a week. My last apartment which my Utility's were all off of my apartment was around 104-140$ and it actually had a ac/heat system so it makes zero sense. All they care about is the money and no help towards the apartments or residents. THERE IS ALWAYS DOG POOP EVERYWHERE AND THEY DONT CARE MY KIDS CANT EVEN WALK IN THE GRASS WITHOUT HAVING IT ON THERE SHOES.

You will find these disturbing things: You must agree to pay property tax (instead of the owners of the apartments). You must agree to make the owners of the apartments the beneficiaries of the REQUIRED rental insurance. You must agree to have internet and cable through Comcast, which is about $110 per month for MINIMAL service. You must pay the apartment owners, even if you don't want those services and don't sign up. You pay a "service fee" every month for a third party to bill you via the apartments for sewer and water (in addition to the sewer and water). There is no street parking allowed, which is fine, but this isn't enforced, which gets real annoying for those tenants who don't break the rules. There is no leaving garbage cans outside of the garages, but this isn't enforced, which again is real annoying, and trashy looking, for those tenants who don't break the rules. Again, the apartments are new, so quite nice. But unless some things change, this place is EXTREMELY expensive and proves to be even more so as the owners take advantage at the renters expense.
