I knew based on my research that a good training approach needs to be individualized to the dog, and provide positive reinforcement where the dog and trainer show they are happy and engaging positively with the sessions. Diversity K9 was recommended to us by a neighbor this spring and we scheduled an evaluation with Nicole in February. During the evaluation, Nicole demonstrated extensive knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques, and she readily cited examples of strategies she uses with her own pets. Nicole reviewed Baron's history, his known behaviors, our current strategies for addressing the behaviors, and our goals for what we would like to achieve with training. She recommended the two week board and train package. Nicole or another trainer checked in with us via text with a message and a picture or video every few days to keep us updated on Baron's progress. Baron always looked like he was having the time of his life, with perky ears and a wagging tail, which made us feel confident that he was being well taken care of. We could easily see by the updates that he was making excellent progress, and when we picked him up after two weeks we were so impressed with his behavior! Nicole walked us through the training to ensure we felt confident with the techniques before sending us home, and has since checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything is going smoothly. Now we can take Baron out without him taking US for a walk, and WE are in control when other dogs are in the area. Even at 7-years-old, Baron was able to learn new "tricks" thanks to Nicole and Diversity K9!

I would strongly recommend against this company and location, unfortunately…read more I attended multiple sessions with my dog last Fall on a routine weekly basis, including Obedience and then several Agility courses once he had graduated to that level. The instructors were all helpful and I loved seeing my dog's progress. We were diligent about attending and practicing. When both my grandfather and mother fell ill and died within 3 months of each other during the holiday season of 2024, I could no longer make the sessions with my dog. Truly they were forgotten during this time of extreme hardship. A couple months later when I could breathe again, I remembered our sessions and went to reserve a class but couldn't because my package had expired. I called and was told that nothing could be done, as this was the policy. These are privately-owned franchise locations, and the owners have the ability to create and revise policies to help their customers - it is their choice to take a customer's money in upfront packages and then refuse to extend any goodwill or flexibility. The classes I attended were rarely full. It would not have hurt their business in any way to allow me to utilize the classes I had already purchased. Looking at other reviews, they have a pattern of treating customers this way. If they had let me use the classes that I bought, I surely would've kept coming and even bought more sessions. But it's not worth it to me to support a business that treats its customers like this.

We have been going to classes since she was just over 6th months old, we were biweekly/weekly for the first year and a half and now we pop in every few months for practice. We did a few private classes to troubleshoot issues and those were very productive and I felt the staff went above and beyond helping my dog overcome her fear of the teeter. The staff is incredible, they are all welcoming, kind and so knowledgeable. They have great suggestions in fixing behaviors and ate always willing to help with different training techniques. I would still go weekly if I could, and I fully plan to take all of my future puppies/dogs here for training and socializing.

There was a couple month wait to do our initial visit to determine if our girls could join the pack but I'm glad we waited until we could get in. P & L love it there and are always happy when we arrive and are great when we pick them up. At other facilities they would have gastrointestinal issues in the days after pick up but that hasn't happened on any of the occasions they've stayed. The facility is spacious and clean with lots of outdoor space. Puppy Dreams has been able to accommodate multiple last minute requests for boarding when we had water damage in our home and it wasn't a safe environment for them. It's been awesome not to have to worry about our pups throughout the reconstruction and Puppy Dreams has had availability for our girls on the multiple occasions it's taken to get all of our repairs completed. The staff is fantastic and it's reassuring to know that our dogs are so well taken care of when they're away from home. They're getting playtime, given their medication, fed and walked consistently, and enjoying lots of love & cuddles from the staff. Service: 5-stars- Since the first time we took him they knew our boy by name. They have always been friendly, personable, helpful. They even take photos of the dogs playing and end up showcasing there tenants. We can call anytime during business hours and get updates. He is nice and clean from his bath; however, make sure you know when they will give your kid a bath vs your pickup- no playing with others after bath. Environment: 4 stars- Small facility holding around 30+ something dogs. Facility is clean and well kept. The individual rooms are more like little stalls with no windows or anything so no view unless the dog is tall enough to look over. The biggest plus is they have two large grass, fenced in areas for the kids to run free and use bathrooms. They really don't have an indoor run but a small room upfront that can be used for indoor play. Most local facilities have little or no grass areas and indoor play areas but no outdoor play areas. Fees: 5-stars. Beats everyone around we have tried from day and overnight boarding, bathes, etc.

I cannot thank you enough Jason! This was a big job, as Stella was quite a leash puller, and at 73 pounds, she's more than half my weight. I hired Jason in advance of a move to Italy, as I wanted Stella to be able to enjoy urban and country walks, and all the joys of the cafe lifestyle that the Italian dogs enjoy. As Stella and I prepare for our leave date in just four days, I feel confident that she will. Not only did she learn from Jason, but she also loves him. He went above and beyond in every way, even coming to my place of business from training dates, and taking Stella to outdoor venues to get her used to it. Thank you Jason. I brought her to the group puppy class to get comfortable around dogs of any breed. This has been amazing for her. Amanda has been so kind to both of us. She understands that what I need to work on is somewhat different from what most people are working on. She is willing to accommodate that and work with us. We are now 3 weeks into the next session and I have learned so much! Amanda makes the classes fun and has tips to make teaching different behaviors much easier. I scheduled an initial Zoom meeting in October 2020 but had to reschedule due to being exposed to COVID and needing to quarantine and get tested. She was very understanding, and we rescheduled for December, and then she messaged me the day of our appointment that she had a minor emergency and needed to reschedule. Of course, this is understandable. We had our Zoom meeting the first week of December, and it went well! She said she would email me some documents THAT NIGHT on what I could get started on working with my dog, and then we could have an in-person appointment in January! She also said to contact her whenever with any questions- which turned out to be an empty statement, if you were the kind of person looking for a response when you contact someone. Unfortunately, I had to bother her several times as I never received the documents, and I finally did- a full month later, in January. I understand that she was on vacation, but still, an entire month of waiting for some PDFs? Due to an incident with our dogs, I had to ask if she would be willing to work with two dogs instead of one and wanted to make certain our appointment would still stand. I called her office, tried to text her, and received no response until she texted me that she had an open "phone call appointment" for a week later. I tried to explain the situation over text, and said that if she wasn't willing to work with both, I would totally understand, and we could look for a new trainer for both dogs. I received a response of "If that's what you think is best." I was taken aback by this and reiterated that if she was willing, I would really like to keep working with her. She then said she could, and I asked again for the PDFs she never sent, and I received them that night. We set an appointment for the last week of January, and I was looking forward to it because our home situation had become very complicated with our dogs being in a tiff. I had been working on the commands in the PDF and was seeing an improvement in my dog. We waited for about a month for our appointment. At 6 am the day before our appointment, I get an automated email from her site saying our session has been cancelled, and I need to reschedule. I texted her, asking if this was a mistake and that I was confused, and if something had happened. I received no response, so I messaged her via the site, asking if she was no longer available for our session. She replied with "Yes, I'm no longer available" with no further explanation. I asked if she had a different time that day, because her next appointment on the site was weeks later, and we waited a month for our appointment. I said if not, we really couldn't wait all over again, and I would like to ask for a refund. I received no response. Today, I got an automated email from the site saying I will have my refund in up to 10 days. I feel as if I wasted both my time waiting for an appointment and my money on our initial session. Sure, she could be a great trainer, if you actually can get ahold of her, and she seemed nice enough when we met over Zoom, but unfortunately, I wouldn't waste your time or money.

I worked with her a few months ago as I enrolled my dog in a week long boot camp training. I had gotten lazy with his training and let him slip into a few behavioral problems. I emailed Lindsay and explain my problems and she came up with reasonable solutions. When my dog, Hermes, came back after the week, I continued to work with the commands he had been taught. He had completely changed his ways and it was great. I now felt more confident about taking him out in public and to restaurants. He also became more manageable on walks. Lindsay continued to text me weeks after the training to make sure there were no problems. And if there were problems, we met up and had private training sessions to make sure I kept everything in control. She is a great trainer, I definitely recommend.
