Dirty and whimsical, Sisyphos is like Alice in Wonderland meets Detroit? Maybe it's the abandoned sticker-bombed van that takes my mind to Detroit, and the mini creek and fairy disco lights that makes me think of Alice... Over one weekend, I got into the club two times out of three (the second time, the line was way too long and my group bailed). My stamp from the Friday night was honored Sunday evening, so shower gingerly if you enjoy paying reduced cover (15 euro initially, and then 5 for re-entry). The staff here are a little nicer and less intimidating than the guys at Berghain, but I think the overall lack of showing positive emotions is a largely German thing. Additionally, if you don't speak German, hand the first bouncer your phone for stickering, and ID if they ask. Get patted down in the second room, pay your cover fee, show your stamp to the last doorperson, and stroll through the final eingang into Sisy. At the beginning of the weekend, only three rooms seemed to be open (tech house, darker house, and disco) and then closer to Sunday/Monday, an additional room opens up to play more tech-house, as well as the rooftop bar behind the abandoned van. Sisyphos has plenty of places to sit and chill if you're getting tired of rotating around the rooms. Stay past sunrise, or leave whenever you please. Bathrooms are grungy and unisex. Toilets are awkwardly high or maybe I'm just terribly short... Lastly, if you're a germaphobe, don't come sober, pack napkins and hand sanitizer, and leave your worries at home. read more

My favourite place for some 5AM hummus! The kitchen never closes and is serving a large variety of food. Get your granola, pizza, vegan stew or hot dog whenever you want! The prices are fair. Quality is legit. Lovely outdoor seatings. They also have a cozy coffee house where you can warm up with hot drinks while having a slice of cake. Not giving 5 stars because their line gets ridiculous around 1AM - 4AM. Waiting here for 2h is not rare. Either get in before 10:00PM and enjoy your after work drinks or show up after 5AM. read more

Amazing family fun center! Probably the best place to bring the kids. They absolutely love it!! Huge outdoor playground with plenty of fun things to climb and explore for the children. The music is high energy and will wear out even the most rambunctious. Even inside there are cool places for the kids to find.. in the main dancefloor there is a secret spaceship cockpit exhibition to discover. My son Brad loved it!! There's also a great pizza stand for when you need a bite. And the people here are so kind! Made lots of new playdates for the kids. Open all weekend...could easily stay a couple days with help from vitamins! If you are on a family trip in Berlin this is not to be missed. read more

One of the most interesting clubs that I've been to. There's a big outdoor area with all this unique stuff including abandoned vehicles, bonfire, treehouse, chairs made out of boulders, mattresses, etc etc There's 2 dance floors (one of which is pretty tiny). The entrance to the main one is borderline scary... You walk through this freaky hallway with weird lighting. Then the dance floor itself looks like it is inside some abandoned building. There is a lot of seating available. Music is excellent. Main floor was playing some dark techno and tech house. Crowd was really into it. Smaller second floor was playing funky house. Also has a food vendor selling pizza slices, hot dogs, etc Drinks are reasonable. Note that the deposit on the beer bottles is 0.5 euros. The sign indicating that is in German. I hate leaving bad reviews on Yelp and never have done so before. Please know that the guy at the door here was so cruel. He enjoyed being mean to us. This place is based on a Burningman vibe? Ha!Please. We live in San Francisco, we have worked at Burningman, have gone there for years, and are actually very close to the staff. We work in a similar industry of live music (with actual real, nice, hippies), and at Burningman you would NEVER encounter negativity there like the tall mean bouncer at the door at this place, claiming to be a hippie, ha! It is our first night in Berlin and this is such a welcome. I will be practicing compassion for these people as they 'judge a book by its cover' This really enforces separation in our society and the non-acceptance of someone who doesn't look or dress like you. If you want a taste of Berlin nightlife, Sisyphos is a great place to start. This huge complex offers several rooms, bars, and even an outdoors "chill out" area with some sort of mini lake and a bridge. I wish I had taken pictures, since I know how weird this description may sound :) But anyway, as most clubs in Berlin, it's kinda filthy. You go out with sand in your shoes, on your clothes, and a terrible headache from electro music. And still, you wanna go back for the cheap drinks, awesome people, and because you can dance all day long since it's open till very late! read more

Love this place. After a lot of back and forth on where to go out to dance with friends we opted for Sisyphos after receiving it as a recommendation from a friend. Entry was around 13 Euros, and the people at the door a tad little bit hipster obnoxious, but once you're inside you really don't care. Came here on a Saturday night around 2 am and there was a big ass line. Luckily, we knew our way in so we didn't have to wait for like - what - 1 freakin hour or so. I guess it's a chill place BUT MORE OF A SUMMER TIME SPOT, at least for me. It's more outdoor than indoor so in winter you gonna freeze your ass off. Good club, the main techno dance floor is perfect if you are on mdma or es (very good sound system, dark, a lot of smoke and nice light effects) half of people inside are on somthing, Entry was 10 euros there is places to rest and chill out, there was a camp fire outside if u wanna see the sun rise (if there is sun off-course), mixed toilets, one said it is more of a music festival than a club (i approve) If your more into getting drunk and picking up women than high zombie dancing i do not recommend this club for you, because of the medium to low quality of women and the drugs ideology, They say the party here is continues for the whole weekend, maybe true because at 9am while i was getting out there was still alot of people and some was entering The closet room stuff are really nice, helped me when i lost my jacket, special thanks to the hippie woman To get in i suggest you be a couple not big group, answer in english if you does not know german, dont care too much about the entry be chilled out and do not over dress! Love this place! Got turned away on a Sunday day but had no problem getting on a Friday night. You can leave with your stamp and come back until Monday morning. The crowd is really mixed....not the all black uniform of Berghain. Definitely somewhere to go in the summer. You can buy toothbrushes there if you plan on staying the whole weekend :-) read more

I visited this club back in June of 2015. It was upon recommendation of a friend who lives in Friedrichstrasse - so I knew his judgement would be reliable. We arrived and there was no wait/que at the door. He spoke in German to the staff and in we went. Boy did I expect what was inside!? Amazing out door area with deck chairs and an outside bar. Went to a good few clubs in the 5 weeks I spent in Berlin (including Berghain) and I can honestly say Sisyphos was my favourite. A group of us went twice and count both nights as among the best nights out we've ever had. Love the fact that it's so spread out, with a techno warehouse, a house cabin and a chill out cabin beside the outdoor lake where people sit around fires smoking Js and drinking beers. Any time you get tired of one area, you can easily move on to the next which has a different vibe altogether. I would describe it more akin to a festival than a night club!! We went in the winter when it's supposed to not be quite as good as summer, so I can only imagine how good it gets! Highly highly recommended.. Has a community vibe with everyone being very friendly, drinks are cheapish and music is FANTASTIC. read more

Got recommendations by multiple friends and a tour guide as a fun, mostly outdoor club that wasn't hard to get into (wasn't told a specific dress code similar to Berghain, no required ratio of girls to guys, etc). Got to the club at 1:30 AM, took me 2 hours to get to the front, immediately turned away and sent outside. Not sure if this is something recent but be prepared to be turned away if it's a busy night apparently. Loads of other people were also getting denied. read more
