The first appointment with Lori was during COVID. Despite distancing, the staff was welcoming and attentive. They have a nice lounge room where customers can wait but both times I was retrieved for my session promptly. I am very picky about my layers but Lori was able to navigate them and give me a gorgeous cut. Mandie was training while I got my trim which demonstrates what an expert she is. The prices are higher but to me, it's worth it. One thing to note is parking. I booked my appointments during business hours on a weekday and easily parked right in front of the building. I know that street can get busy around dinner and on the weekends so you might want to plan accordingly!

I dye my hair every 2-3 months to up keep. I went to salon Noir about a month ago, my old stylist moved away. My hair is extremely damaged. My hair is falling out. I have never lost this much hair or been able to pull out hair in 5 years. I got a normal cut and color. My stylist rushed the entire process. I had to tell her multiple times to be careful on my head because she was pulling and being rough. The entire process was rushed. The color was okay. I am so extremely upset about how damaged my hair is now, I have never had this happen before. I don't know what products were used on my hair, or if whatever they use for dye was not properly mixed or what. The price was very inexpensive, but I got what I paid for. I will never be back to this salon and I don't recommend anybody come for any dye job. Very disappointed, I won't be back.

They had champagne and flutes ready for us by couches in the back. We had that area to ourselves to set our things, relax and enjoy some mimosas. They also served fresh coffee from AM coffee roasters. Our hairstylists were ready right on schedule for us, and we were all able to get our hair done at the same time. Great location in an old warehouse with river views from the windows. I had Olivia style my hair in an updo. I showed her some pictures, and she was able to mix them all and make it gorgeous! It stayed up for the entire night! The bride went in early to practice her hair and makeup, so the day of there were no surprises. They helped attach her veil to her updo and show us how to remove it without ruining her hairstyle. All the stylists were very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere for the morning of the Wedding day! Prices were very reasonable and fair for everything. If I lived closer this would be my go to spot for haircuts. First a little background on me:…read more I am a first time mom and had not had my hair colored in more than a year or cut in more than six months. I was in desperate need of a really good cut and color before returning to work (after maternity leave) but also wanted to maximize my time with my daughter. Since moving to Chicago two years ago, I have been unable to find a stylist who I love, or even like for that matter. So I was feeling like my hair would be eternally bland... until I met Christina. A friend of mine works with a lot of stylists for her job (for photoshoots, etc.) and I was telling her about my dilemma. She recommended that I call Christina because she had worked with her before AND because she does house calls. I was sold. Now, the experience: I texted Christina on a Monday evening, we talked for a few moments on the phone, she explained her process, I discussed my needs, and the next morning she was at my house with all of her gear and a Starbucks iced latte for each of us. She was THE BEST. She's completely transparent about pricing. Her prices are exactly the same as what I pay in a salon (there is no added fee for coming to your home), but the entire process is so much more fun and relaxing. We decided to touch up my roots, paint in some lighter pieces (like tortoise shell/balayage/ombre) and then bond my hair with Oraplex. Because she used the Oraplex, we only had to trim a little bit off the ends of my hair, allowing me to keep all of my length. She styled my hair with a beautiful blowout, and it lasted a solid four days! She made great recommendations the whole time, she was really efficient in every aspect of her work, and the whole experience felt much more like a fun girls' day vs. the standard salon experience. For all of these reasons -- and because my daughter adored her -- I give my highest recommendation! I finally feel I've found my stylist, and I'm already excited for my next appointment! xo

She has this way of making you comfortable although her extremely annoying dog is jumping on you and scratching my expensive new Ralph Lauren putt. Just a side note I have rescues and they know better... Anyway, I went for the Groupon deal to have my eyebrows done for my son's baby shower. He told me not to do it and after everything insists he was right. When I arrived Nousha, which is not her legal name, because I am suing her is extremely manipulative and said that she will do my hair instead of my brows which is what I went there for with the Groupon. So she chopped my hair off shorter than my shoulders after I told her how upset I was with how short my hair was after the beautician at ULTA chopped it! So then she made this home made brew of bullshit to color my hair which washed out the next day. She says she makes everything orgayat home from powder, rose, lavender you name it, but somehow there's absolutely no smell of any of those ingredients. Then she tried to sell me her home made products. I'm not interested. At the end of 6 ridiculous hours with this lady who uses her dogs webstto save money, complained about her x leaving her, said she had no relationship with her only son felt like she wanted to go back to Iran. It was honestly an overload and not at all what I went there for. I was told NOT TO BUY THE EYEBROW GROUPON because she would give me a better price in person. When I got there, which is 20 miles from home & I don't drive she talked me into doing my hair although I didn't ask for it and specifically went there ONLY to have my brows done for the GROUPON price of $236. Needless to say she chopped the crap out of my hair because she is extremely manipulative. She needs to be shut down. From other reviví see that this is a trend. She is a con artist. She acts like she's going to be your friend and should take girl trips, but the truth of the matter is I went there for my eyebrows with a Groupon. She didn't honor it. She cut my hair so short I'm embarrassed to leave the house!!! She insisted I pay her $347 in cash for the hair do which I didossk for. She insisted it had to be paid in cash which I thought was ridiculous. But she made me think we were friends. So I gave her $380. Then she sent me nice text metas if we were lifetime buddies. When I didn't show up for the not wanted $186 facial last Monday she sent me the email to sign some documents for the eyebrows to be permanently tattooed on Tuesday for $237 which was the Groupon price. I incidentally sprained my right leg over the weekend and despite that I wouldn't have had either of those serfdoms by her because my hair is the ABSOLUTE WORST IT HAS EVER LOOKED IN MY LIFE FOR $380!!!! Then to top it off she had Officer Michael Stone from the Thiensville Police Department drive 20 miles to Greenfield to demand payment for my hair service AGAIN My nurse was evaluating my leg because I couldn't walk while this officer almost pounded my door in. I am filing a lawsuit against Nousha which is not her legal name btw as well as her lover Officer Michael Stone. This woman is a con artist and a fraud. She messed up my hair. Never did my brows and now is facing charges for harassment. DO NOT TRUST HER. She is a FRAUD.
