I have been wearing glasses all my life. This is the first year I've had a problem. I had to go in for an adjustment because the frames rubbed the skin on top of my ear raw. The practice manager "helped" me by adjusting. She supposedly adjusted them. I asked about having the problem and it being the first time experiencing such an issue and she said that sometimes in shipping, glasses frames get bent in shipping and need adjusted. I waited until the soreness lessened, but the problem continued. Went back in and the manager commented about me being back again. She made a second adjustment. Same problem continued. I went in for a third adjustment and finally got to see someone who knew what he was doing. I ended up having to purchase new frames. Then I was told it would be 7 to 10 days for the new glasses to come in. Today I called to check on them (9 days later) and was now told by the practice manager that its 7 to 10 business days, which means up to 14 total days. This is absurd. This woman, who claims to be a professional, is a rude, unprofessional liar. MyEyeDr does take a ridiculous amount of time to get your glasses to you, but never has it taken two weeks. It has now been over two months since I had my eyes examined and I am still using the old glasses with the wrong prescription. Truly top notch customer service. They need to show their practice manager the door!

I was supposed…read moreto have my first appointment with him (booked a year out) only to find out when getting there for my appointment that he was no longer there. He left the practice the month prior and went to another practice. MrEyeDr staff did not communicate to let me know of this change. They sent text messages to confirm my appointment the week before only to find out upon arrival for my appointment that they cancelled my appointment. Did not even communicate that I no longer had an appointment. They stated they sent an email letting me know, but there was no email sent - and confirmation text messages were continued to be sent. Thankfully I found out where my current eye doctor is now practicing, and will be going to his new center vs. this franchise eye center.

Some was wrong with my left eye and discovered I have cataracts--something he never informed me about originally. To make matters worse, he falsely claimed he told me, but the paperwork wasn't there to prove it. This is not a caring practice, and I suggest going elsewhere.

Misdiagnosis and extreme lack of care…read more I believe it's important to leave honest reviews, especially when a medical experience has the potential to affect someone's health. Unfortunately, my experience at this office was extremely disappointing and could have had serious consequences for my vision. I went to this office because I had severe eye pain that had been progressively getting worse, along with redness. By the time of my appointment, I was in significant pain and was worried something was seriously wrong. Unfortunately, my experience started poorly from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff ignored me for several minutes. When I was finally helped, the receptionist seemed distracted and was multitasking the entire time instead of giving me her full attention. The delays continued throughout my visit. The technician who was supposed to bring me back spent time talking with coworkers while I waited, despite my obvious discomfort. Once I was finally in the exam room, she spent a considerable amount of time talking about unrelated personal matters instead of focusing on my symptoms so I could be seen by the doctor. I was then sent to another waiting area, where I again waited while staff chatted with one another before I was called back. The most disappointing part of my visit was the doctor's evaluation. Dr. Krulewski spent what felt like only a couple of minutes with me. He barely listened as I described my symptoms, performed only a very brief examination, and quickly diagnosed me with pink eye. I was confused because my symptoms didn't seem consistent with conjunctivitis. As he was leaving the room, I actually had to stop him so I could ask additional questions. He appeared rushed and uninterested in discussing my concerns. I was prescribed antibiotic eye drops and instructed to use them for one week. I followed those instructions exactly. However, shortly after finishing the medication, my eye pain returned. At that point, I sought a second opinion from another eye doctor. I was told that I never had pink eye. My actual diagnosis was uveitis, an inflammatory eye condition that requires completely different treatment. The second doctor explained that I should have begun the appropriate treatment about two weeks earlier. Left untreated, uveitis can potentially lead to permanent vision complications. Needless to say, learning that my condition had been misdiagnosed was both frightening and frustrating. I trusted this office to properly evaluate a painful eye condition, and instead I lost valuable time before receiving the correct treatment. One additional observation that concerned me was hearing another patient in the waiting room express worries that she may have developed an eye infection after a previous visit involving dilation. While I can't speak to her situation, hearing another patient voice concerns about their care added to my lack of confidence in the office. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice. The lack of urgency from multiple staff members, combined with what I believe was an incomplete evaluation and an incorrect diagnosis, left me feeling dismissed and could have had serious consequences for my vision. I would strongly encourage anyone experiencing significant eye pain to seek a provider who takes the time to thoroughly evaluate their symptoms.
