Sir Edwin Smith Walk is a small and fairly uninteresting reserve on Osmond Terrace. Consisting of little more than two patches of grass divided by a path there is barely enough room to kick a football. There is a small rotunda like structure at the entrance to the reserve on Osmond Terrace, which might serve some purpose if one were caught in a storm.
Incidentally, a bit of history for you, in addition to being the Mayor of Kensington and Norwood and a member of the South Australian Parliament, Sir Edwin Smith, was also the chap who ran the Kent Town Brewery, which is now a block of luxury apartments, and he used to live on the property which is now Loretto College.
You would think with all that he'd gt something a bit fancier as his namesake. read more
