In that we were getting very close to the tax return deadline date, I placed a call to the office to inquire as to what the status of our return was as we had not heard from anyone. I was told an email had been sent asking for additional information. Unfortunately, it was sent to an email. I do not use often. However, my response to that was they should have called. Their response to that was they did and our number was disconnected. They were calling an old house number from when we lived in Florida back in 2010; even though they had both of our cell phone numbers, no one ever bothered calling us. over the past month, my husband has left numerous messages for Salim, the owner, to please call as my husband had questions about a possible investment property; the return calls never came. Every time my husband called, he was told oh he'll call you either today or tomorrow, oh, his son got married and he has family visiting but he will get back to you, oh, he didn't call you. He will call you. This went on for over a month . I was also told that Donna, who works in the office, was going to drop our return off at my house, but that it would be late in the evening. I waited up she never came. the next day when I spoke to her after I called the office, she said she had her grandchildren and had taken them out. I told her a phone call would have been nice as I waited up for her. I guess they just don't need the business anymore and don't value customers from when they first got into the business. We shall look elsewhere.

The individual that does the actual taxes is not who you would visit to get them signed, somewhat 2 weeks later, The owner has to sit with you to discuss investment opportunities with those who are 55 and older. Overall, their service is good and fast. WE have been pretty happy with the returns. I would recommend anyone 55 and older to take advantage of the lower cost tax prep they offer.

Then they made me fill out a new client form so I asked if someone brought the buisness. They said no. So I asked why. They said the owner was making everyone fill them out. Then I found out why. They wanted to put my credit card on file in case I didn't come and get my taxes when they was done. I could understand if I was going to owe money but I never owe money. Also last year they didn't contact me until June about my paperwork being done or paying them so with all that being said all I can say is bye bye. You lost a good paying customer due to your stupidity

It took me a little longer than I'd originally planned, because there were several months when I would call Navicore and tell them not to take my payment out of my bank account this month due to WHATEVER, and that pushed back getting my creditors paid off in the original time. But that was a VERY helpful flexibility on the part of Navicore; there were some months I just could not do it. But, one by one, I got everyone paid off. I also took the Dave Ramsey course, and Navicore will do the "snowball method" to help you pay off your debt faster, if that's what you want them to do; once you get the first creditor paid off, they will offer to either reduce your monthly Navicore payment OR keep it the same and send the extra money each month towards one of your other debtors. It's fantastic!! I was always in a cash flow crunch, so I just always had them reduce down my monthly Navicore payment when we I got one of my debts paid off. But I finally did it! I finished and made my last Navicore payment in September of 2023. And they sent me a Completion Certificate in the mail- almost like I had "graduated" from Navicore:) Thanks, guys!!

The firm began negotiating and I paid them $10,000. My CT back taxes were resolved with an offer of compromise and I was told that a similar deal was about to be reached with the federal government. Then the pandemic hit. The process shut down. I remained in contact with the firm until, it seemed, I made my last payment. I haven't spoken to anyone at the firm in a year. All of my calls go straight to the voicemail of an associate I've never heard of. I phoned TAS an IRS sponsored tax assistance agency today and was told that no such offer of agreement exists. Now I'm starting all over again on my own. This is a nightmare! Be warned!
