I have been wanting to go to this shop for ages but every time I went it was shut, well I finally…read moremanaged to go there the other day and it was open. My 1st impression of the shop was that it is quite small and as such I didn't really expect there to be to look at, but as soon as I walked in the door I realised I couldn't be more wrong, the shop is on 2 floors and is 1 of the biggest model/hobby shops I've ever been in and it is not a big name like model zone but the shop is bigger than any of there shops I've been in. As for what they sell there should definitely be something for every one as not only do they sell model railways but model kits, die cast cars and bikes, R.C. cars and boats etc, scalextric and even dolls houses as built or in kit form as well as plans to build them from scratch! Being interested in model railways that was the area of the shop I mainly looked at and that took up probably about 1 3rd of the upper floor so there was quite a selection although there 2nd hand section could be better but then again thats is probably down to how much stuff people sell to them and when. I went with my father and we had a good look round at everything they sell just to see what exactly they have and there website doesn't really show everything that they have so it is definitely worth paying a visit as you are bound to find something of interest even if you aren't into any of the hobbies there's a good chance you will find something interesting.

If this is your sort of thing though, Model Zone is a good compromise between cheap, knock-off memorabilia and the full-on, second-mortgage-requiring stuff you get in comic shops, with the added bonus of having loads of model making stuff thrown in. If you're not old enough to have yet rediscovered how cool things like train sets and Scalextric actually were, then this isn't the place for you - it's strictly dads and the old-at-heart only in here.

This realy is the best model shop i have seen in ages way better than modelzone, the staff are very…read morefriendly and helpfull, they have new and 2nd hand items, a layout that takes up half the shop so you can see locos running before you decide to buy them, realy reasonable prices and have given me discount in past as i go there quite often either tradeing or buying stuff from them. easy to find ust down road from morley town hall, plenty of busses go out and stop just near the shop, they have a surpriseing amount for the size of the shop as they have filled every avalible inch of space thay can. there web site could do with updateing but like a lot of people they probably just don't have the time http://millennium-models.co.uk/ would highly recomend this shop or at least pay a visit

He nearly wet himself with excitement when on a…read morerecent visit to stay we walked past this shop and before I knew what was happening we were in. Had I have known this place was here I wouldn't of taken him anywhere near it as predictably he spent nearly an hour here gawping. The stuff is a little freaky for my liking, creepy looking marks and all manner of gargoyles and action figures. After much resistance I finally gave in and allowed him to get something that looked half alien half wolf. He did try to explain to me what it was but I wasn't really listening. The best part though was that he had been a grumpy teenager for most of the trip but after a little while in this shops he was positively cheery.

If you like Crafts you're going to LOVE Craftzone! It's not very easy to find so if you haven't…read morebeen before don't worry if you think you're in the wrong place! You park at the side of the building (there are signs saying 'Craftzone Parking') and then walk back towards the road, and go into the building up the steep ramp. When you get to the top of the ramp, turn left and you're there! It's a massive craft shop and they sell just about everything - people travel miles to get here and it really is worth a trip. It's sometimes quite messy and there is so much stuff, so you really need to have some time in your hands to make the most of your trip! the staff are really friendly and will always give advice etc if you need it. They also do workshops, I'm not sure when but all the info will be on the website. Price wise it's pretty good value, but its the range of stuff thats really the best thing about the shop. Prepare to spend a fortune!!!!!!
