The passion never went away and neither did the desire to express myself through singing. I knew I needed the right teacher that would be patient w me and recognizing what I, as an individual needed in order to sing better. From my first lesson, i knew she was that teacher and more. She specializes in colors. I never truly knew what that meant w music as I continued to learn to literally sing and relax. No matter what kind of day I had, whether it seemed negative or positive, Jen was knowledgeable to recognize what I needed to recognize the colors again and sing them! After meeting other singers and musicians in the studio, I was even more thankful and inspired by everyone's positive energy in the support everyone gave each other. At 30 years old I decided to finally follow my heart. I was just a girl who had a dream, and many visions of living in my reality of loving to sing, just for the sake of music. I came to Jen with more vocal tension than most. Although we are still unraveling all the layers of vocal problems, Jen's expertise is helping me find my voice, and more importantly, she is helping me find my heart. I have also started piano composition classes with her to be able to write, play and sing my own songs. To top that off, because of all the success we have been having with myself and because of and pure, kind, genuine person Jen is, I decided to start my 9 year old with piano lessons, and she ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT! She cannot wait to Ms. Jen every week and leaves class more grounded, happier and excited to practice what she learned in class.

Such an amazing group of teachers and programs. My daughters, Helen (10) and Madeline (9), took…read morepart in the Variety Show and attended the Summer Camp in 2013 and had a fantastic time. The Variety Show was their first experience with musical theater, and the parts given to them were perfect. Summer Camp was filled with classes in singing, acting, dancing, and auditioning; the chance to put together and perform another variety show; and the opportunity to write, act, and screen their own movie. As a parent, I was so happy to see them come home every day excitedly talking and singing about what they'd done. I was also impressed with how well all of the kids at camp got along, considering their ages ranged from 5-15. Many thanks to Melissa, Zach, Renee, Dave, and Carl.
