I was in town on work related business and I decided to stop in and gas up and grab a little snack. This gas station is located on the main road leading into the town of Marysville. It gets a lot of traffic due to this fact, but the parking lot is very small. There are only four pumps available for gassing up. The store itself looks very dull even though it is semi newly built. When you look at it from the outside you can barely see what it looks like on the inside the windows appear dark but when you step inside it's well lit, the shelves are pretty well stocked and the prices are pretty reasonable for a convenience store. I think what is most disappointing is the reception I received from the workers. No one greeted me upon entry. I stood at the counter of the pizza spot inside and no one ever asked if they could help me or take my order so I eventually decided that I didn't want pizza. When I got to the front counter the girl was writing something down on a piece of paper I still there waiting for her to help me and it took her forever to finish writing down whatever she was writing, to look up and do her job. When she spoke to me her tone was very nonchalant and she never really greeted me she just checked my food and put my stuff in a bag. Overall the store is not that bad and it's a good spot to go to when you need to get back on the road however just be prepared the friendliness in this town is very lacking which to any traveler makes you all that more anxious to get back on the road and leave. read more
