Sparkling water Perrier in L'Orange. So refreshing!
    Susan R.

The motorcycle decided that it needed to have air put in the tires and needed gas so I stopped here to fix both my issues. The pump area when I stopped today was a ghost town but it was during the day. Gas at this station is a little higher than most places in the area. I do not feel like cutting it too close with the gas gauge so with out flipping a U turn I choose this station. This station has decent coffee as well. When I walked into the store there are huge picture windows in the front that let the sun rays through and bring light forth. But the sun does not blind the cashier or customers. Their coffee bar is well stocked with two different kinds of creamer and it is the good stuff too. They have over six kinds of brewed coffee, plus an only decaf. I decided to mix the french roast and Hawaiian blend. They mixed well together and were very strong. For buying a large cup of coffee a customer can choose a free donut too! The selection of donuts is wide and it is a nice perk. When I went to pay for the sparkling water and coffee I did have to wait in line, but the cashier was with a guest. She must be very popular since her guest brought her breakfast and they were eating it together. I'm sure she needed a break too. Since when she was ringing in my order she was still eating with her guest. I had to pay with the card so she had to be there to take the form of payment. I did get through the process and the cashier was nice eating would of been best done on a break. I paid for the gas at the pump. Yes, I will visit here again, but I hope that Sinclair will extend periods for their employees to at least eat.

Not to mention when I ask the clerk behind the counter is rude and say we don't carry them anymore, seriously!!! So we pay for a deluxe car wash. And we don't get towels to dry. Nice! Then on top of it they have these hanging vacuums that have no air coming out. Some don't even have holes connected to them. Every time I come they have more and more missing. This will be my last time coming. For sure!!! Worst experience. I will be going across the street from now on.

Never in my life have I ever heard that or have been denied service because i used a passport instead of a driver's license, specially in Las Vegas , a tourist town. He said with an attitude, quote "since I cant scan your passport , I cant sell it to you". Which is totally a lie and more than anything gave racist vibes. Ive been coming to that chevron for over 5 years and never experienced that, since I live in the area. I was just there yesterday buying some beer and the other guy that has a disability looked at my passport and manually input my birthday like they do at every other gas station. Paul acted like the scanner is the only way he can verify age. I went across the street to Circle K and they had no problem accepting my passport, like any gas station. I even asked the clerk at Circle K, if he has ever heard that and he laughed and said no thats ridiculous. I will also be contacting corporate because what he did is not ok and can be considered a form of discrimination.

I would use Maverick gas over others on a road trip because of all the ease of use features I listed off.

My first visit was back in 2018 and the guy at the register saw the production name on my hooded jacket and proceeded to tell me he wasn't crazy about it, so we started a friendly conversation that way. Considering it was about 4-5am, this guy was probably bored out of his mind (even in Las Vegas) so it was a cool way to help wake me up before the long drive back. On my most recent visit, a guy clearly not named 'Kendra' (name on the receipt) behind the counter was masked and friendly. Just had to fill up before leaving and it was a short transaction. Doesn't hurt that the prices are cheaper than CA, so between this and the cool staff I've dealt with, this is a consistent stop while in the area.
