There were three other stations closed on the same exit --one had yellow ribbons surrounding all pump areas. This station turned out to be a terrible place, felt like the 'Outer Limits' TV series. The gas would not flow, couldn't get the pump to work & the station looked like it was under siege. No one else could pump as well, & the prices were 6/gallon when 8 miles down the Interstate I5 they were 4.50/gal. Only got to 1.5 gallons of a 'full fill' & everything stopped. The poor Vietnam vet (in full headgear regalia) elderly clerk was clueless, obviously upset, & had surely dealt w/ this more than once that day. We just left --so did everyone else (5 cars). read more

This review is based on my experience at the pump. It was a little chilly by the time I got up here to fuel up. To add cherry on top, its started drizzling as well. I used my debit card for prepayment and had SOOOO much trouble using the screen. It responded oh, ever so slowly! I ended up having to press the buttons too often (since I thought it wasn't responding) then the whole thing ended up cancelling the whole transaction. It took three (extra slow) tries before it finally worked! In the meantime, although bundled up, there I was freezing my behind off trying to get some fuel! I should have just gone in and spoke to a person... Somebody PAHLEASE get this fixed because I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who got annoyed or bothered by it. read more

Piss poor service!. Arrived at 610pm 2.18.19. Sign on door says closed for approximately 20 minutes?! WTF??!! I work for a major communications company and have a work van that needs gas. Gas card was declined 3x at the pump. Tried to go inside for authorization. Waited over 20 minutes until I got service. Several people came and went, knocking on the door and shaking the locked door handle. When the cashier saw my coworker she shrugged and mouthed, "What?" and went back into the bathroom she was just in. I knocked on the window and she didnt see me, but saw my coworker again and mouthed the words "What the Fuck" put on her headphones and ignored us and went back into the bathroom. Right at about the 23 minute mark (keep in mind the sign was already in the window when we arrived), with no uniform, no name badge, she unlocks the door with no sympathy, and walks away to get behind the counter. Don't come here. Go to the gas station across the street. This place sucks balls. read more

This used to be my GO TO Gas station when traveling up the 5. NOTE- THEY ONLY HAVE BIO DIESEL no Diesel #2. Good luck asking one of the workers there if there is any nearby gas station that has the Diesel #2 they either do not understand OR they completely ignore you. Bathrooms were filthy. It's pretty much a standard gas station. However, they offer some "wild game jerky" alligator and elk flavors. About 35 exotics flavors according to their sign. The restrooms are inside the store. They also sell some antiques here. Wasn't a bad rest stop. Gas prices was typical. read more

I didn't want to stop, late at night, but was running out of gas, so had to. Clerk that was working was a female, so I felt so much better just because of that. I went inside and bought a soda and chips along with my gas. Nichole (I asked her name cause there was no nametag) was very friendly and had a nice smile. I see some negative reviews on here, but my experience was great! Decent clerks make all the difference, for sure! read more

Smelled like weed in here BIG TIME, the doors are heavy and hard to open and they have the SLOWEST pumps I've ever seen. Took 20 minutes to fill my tank. Never stopping here again! read more

There's a Chevron across the street for 1¢ cheaper but as far as I know, Shell has really good quality gas.

Shell is my go to gas station for a couple of reasons. My buddy in high schools parents owned a shell that I had always gone too for my fuel and beverage needs and it kind of stuck with me talking to them for 20 meeting every time I stooped in. Another reason is there fuel is typically cheaper as well as a cleaner facility overall. read more

I grew up a few miles from here in Gustine and this station (and the one across the street) is always WAY more expensive than stations a few miles north (Patterson exit) or south (Santa Nella exit). Today, 7-25-15, these prices are at least fifty cents per gallon more. If you can make it a few more miles either direction you will save a lot of money. read more

Fast efficient and friendly cashier it was very well clean. Clean restrooms very well stocked merchandise. Nice sitting area very peaceful place to take a break while traveling!! Most definitely will stop by again. read more
