Because they deal with on this daily basis. And most visitors just want to argue. The Navajo Nation is a domestic country with their own laws and regulations. Don't like it? you can visit the stores off the Navajo Nation, which is about 1-3 hours away in ever which way you are traveling. Speedway is owned by 7 eleven, so they gave slurpees here. They have an large fresh coffee section as well.

It is a pet peeve of mine when it's out of paper, but I do get over it once I drive away LOL. I had to wear my mask at this place unlike the other gas stations where I didn't have to... it's all good. Restrooms were clean. I would parouse around for knick knacks like stuff animals for my daughters. Nothing called out to me here. Staff was okay... you don't always get the happy go lucky ones at these stops. Anyway, this wasn't a Love's, Pilot, or Flying J and that's okay. When you need car gas, you take what you can get especially when you're traveling long distance on a road trip. They have an attendant available to help you with gas and cleaning window should you request one. Self service is also available. They also have a very clean restrooms here. I've seen all kinds of toilets around... including some without a toilet seat (outside the United States).... or non flushing type....
