There were questions about the height of shoe I wanted to wear them with, and when I asked if it could be done without actually cutting the fabric - I'm wearing flats now, but want to be able to wear them with heels in the future - the seamstress assured me that that wouldn't be a problem and they would be hemmed by hand. The whole process took a week and cost Hkd80, and I must say I am very pleased with the result.
