Sam is passionate about his craft and it's apparent immediately. It's all fun and games until it's time to perform. Sam is helping me piece together a demo of things I've been working on for a better part of 2 decades. It's extremely exciting but also stressful and honestly kinda scary. I was so appreciative to have Sam on my side once things got serious. He will push to get the absolute best he can out of you and for good reason. He cares. Like, a lot. He cares about the artist, the song and the quality. When I couldn't play something cleanly Sam literally turned his chair around and used his own human body to mute my strings so we didn't get unwanted overtones. This poor guy is using his thumbs, sliding up and down the neck while I play just because he cares that much about the product. Sam is sincerely inspirational and anyone would be lucky to work with him. There's a reason for everything he does and says and there's a reason he's the best in the business.
